I'm not an expert at all with google doc, so don't expect to have all my text and pictures lined up perfectfly. I found it pretty hard to adjust properly. This is a 23 pages document with all pictures included, even then i tried to make it as brief and precise as i could. So for those interested, here is my progression during this insane challenge. I learned so much doing this that i though that i would make it public, as i really think that all kind of players, from complete beginners to advanced players, can learn something from my playthrough so far. I didn't think that it would be possible to have any kind of QOL due to the 25% loot and yet with decent preparation, i was wrong. I actually had so much fun doing this challenge for the first time that i decided to make a diary about it after my first 4 days. It completely changed my way to play the game. I am not a native english speaker so i'm sorry for my language mistakes. From day 1 to 13, i made a slower progression compared to my normal 100% loot playthroughs... But then the trader finally had a bike to sell and and i also reached T5 quests, which changed everything. My progression went through the roof, i managed to get to a decent level after facing 2 blood hordes + excessive mining and had more than decent gear and schematics/books for the stage of the game that i reached, including a crucible schematic. | Should Rule #1 Cardio Work When Riding A Bike? Posted: 31 May 2020 10:35 PM PDT Currently, the perk Rule #1 Cardio only comes into effect when you are sprinting, and not riding a bicycle. Whether this is a bug or a feature, I do not know. I ask you folks, should this perk work when riding a bike or do you think it is fine as it is? Bonus: In a creative test world, with a "bare" character, I was able to sprint for 32 seconds before gassing out. With one point into Rule #1 Cardio, I was able to spring for 45 seconds - another 13 seconds, translating to another 80 meters - before running out of stamina. Whether or not you say this is worth it, as an investment of a skill point, is up to you. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Something i thought would be cool to be added. Posted: 31 May 2020 03:53 PM PDT A playing card minigame. It'd be cool to find a deck of cards that could be accessed to play cards. If you're playing solo you could play Solitaire, but if you're with people it'd be great to play poker, gin, or blackjack. It'd be a cool way of passing the night. Maybe make them have a small amount of heat map, or maybe make them muffle the sounds of zombies beating on the wall (some kind of downside makes playing them just risky enough). It'd be a great way of waiting out the night with friends! Maybe even winning their well earned tokens. What do you guys think? What other kind of thing would be good for the downtime of the game? As a complete nub, I found a simple two layer spike along with a moat to help funnel them into my porch wasn't working because they were going at the walls instead. So.... I'm thinking to build up a outer wall in a U shape, this time hopefully to funnel them into my trap cluster. Will this work? Planning to use bricks but I highly suspect I won't be able to mine enough stone so, wooden walls will form a good portion. [link] [comments]  | ||
