Griefers are friggin annoying pt2 Posted: 01 Jun 2020 07:22 PM PDT So I got back on today, and recruited some players to help me player proof my base when the clouds parted and the 7 dtd gods preformed the miracle of the 2 past greifers joining the game. Needless to say me and the 2 other players wrecked them, got all of my stuff back, pushed them back to their makeshift base( it was just a bedroll and a chest or 2 hidden near a tree) and kept spawn killing them until they quit. [Darkness Falls] Anyone Know About Super Corn? Electric lights performance dips. Posted: 01 Jun 2020 02:12 PM PDT So I only recently decided to play this myself in may or so a18.4. After losing a save to psu fail... redid some stuff and finally got to electricity... aside from it being basically utter disaster that looks barely put together. What is the deal with electric lights? 8 lights eat 10-20 fps... a few hundred torches/candles do... nothing to fps. Is there somewhere I can switch them to use torch lights/candle light or something? I tried to wire motion sensing it made an already horrid situation of 1 bank 1 grid welcome to wire shitshow even worse, multi sensors either need to directly attach to work as a chain or you slap even more and more relays that also eat power(idiotic idea even if it kind of makes sense) and at the end of the day 1 bank can barely do shit and motion sensors if they trigger 2 floors basically overload it anyway... I only did the main section too... a measly 24 lights. Should I even try to use the damn electric lights or to hell with them and just go back to my torches and candles? Thankfully I didn't scrap em. Does spotlight cause the same crap? I was planing on using them for outside lights since it's the only light with long enough range to avoid cop vomit insta gibbing everything even 2-3 blocks in. Honestly the only issue I have with torches and candles is that outside of my base is turning into a local hangout... screamers yelling nonstop when I'm at my base gets annoying. (PC) Posted: 01 Jun 2020 01:04 PM PDT This might be an outdated question because I've been only playing sporadically and not combing through the patch notes, but it's hard to find confirmation on this. I used to have a healthy respect for hot and cold zones because of their potential lethality which lead to me avoiding extreme scenarios. But because I got curious whether you could heal through heatstroke and hypothermia damage with meds like a battle royal games I started testing it out. Only to find it impossible to actually reach stage 1 let alone 2. As in diving into water in the middle of the snow biome in the middle of the night. Or standing in the desert on the hottest part of the day without clothes or any perk points spent in that skill that deals with temp resistance (and without the new player buff). And instead the debuff stays stuck on freezing and sweltering. Which the game files only say impacts stamina and thirst respectively and thus very minor. However because the wiki still lists hypothermia and heatstroke stages there's a bit of ambiguity there that I would loved to have cleared up. On PC, single player and no mods aside from a small edit that makes coal more useful fuel. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 01 Jun 2020 06:51 AM PDT Me and my friends played rust in the past, but we have only weekends to play and Everytime we log in our house was raided and wake up naked, having to start over again. Some people said that this game is capable of playing just ourselves, against the zombies, we are able to buy the game, but some question is killing me: Can we play a weekend and resume the game the next weekend at the point we left? I thought it was 40 but we are over 40 and they still spawn... lets say you build a base 40 walls thick.. would they spawn on ground level? what about 40 above ground? ty for your time [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 01 Jun 2020 07:44 AM PDT What's the main differences between Darkness Falls, Ravenhearst, War of the Walkers, War3zuk, Undead Legacy and True Survival? Other overhauls? What types of mods are compatible for these overhauls? UI changes etc? They're all overhauls, I wanna start a playthrough in one of them but I don't wanna invest in an overhaul that isn't particularly suited to my entertainment. I wanna hear your opinion and experiences on these overhauls, I'm already loving the screenshots I've seen in these mods! I'm looking for something that'd add complexity to some of the crafting recipes. Giving the player different approaches to how you would survive the horde night is something I'd really like. Ones that add in more meaningful items like tools and weapons, that I'd probably play alot more. I'm more of a hoarder type and I like decorating my house. My playstyle's a bit laid back, but still challenged. So along those lines. To be honest I just want a brief description on what the most notable differences these Overhauls give, but I don't mind reading a detailed one! Thank you so much for taking your time!
