| Funny thing happened at the local trader. Posted: 31 Dec 2019 05:38 PM PST So, this might be a bug. I went to a trader to turn in a job and figured I would sell some stuff while there. My inventory was completely full. Thought I would sell everything after I turned in and then pick up the reward off of the counter. When I selected a reward I picked a stack of (10) molotov's. THEY BLEW UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! It set me, the trader, and his place on fire and almost killed me. Thought this to be pretty funny actually. Has this happened to anyone else? | Posted: 31 Dec 2019 02:37 PM PST I apologize in advance if this is already answered somewhere or if it's posted in the wrong place. So this has happened twice to me now. I'll be clearing out the big hospital pop n pills POI and get to the point where you're on the second floor going around the courtyard in the southwest side. Suddenly just by walking over the ground, an approximately 15-20 block span of floor will just give out and collapse. The first time it happened I just assumed a zombie had damaged a key point just enough to cause issues but this time I had just reset the area for a trader's quest so there was very little time for anything to do any damage. I was sneaking as well so I don't believe I woke any sleepers up. It's really frustrating. Answers greatly appreciated! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Making a truck trap for a PVP server Posted: 31 Dec 2019 06:02 PM PST So I'm in a PVP server with some buddies of mine. It's fantastic. Yesterday around day 35 I found two of them looting a gas station, so I took shots at them with a silenced hunting rifle. Ended up killing them and then I destroyed their truck and motorcycle. Cur them being real pouty over discord chat. They exacted vengeance by finding my base (the big Bruce Wayne Manor in Navezgane with the batcave shelter beneath) and completely eradicating it with chainsaws and dynamite and hate. Here's the thing: they love using 4x4 trucks. I'm a bicycle guy. What can I say? I like to protect the environment. And the 7D2D environment could use a little less greenhouse gases. Does anyone know if it's possible to creat a collapsing dirt trap that a 4x4 truck would fall into but a regular zombie/player walking around would not? I don't know if the truck has more "weight" than a person in game. My idea is to plant a lot of nasty pitfall traps all over Navezgane along the roads with mines on the bottom so that my friends who I hate oh-so-much will be driving around, talking shit like normal, still raving about how they destroyed my base, admiring their brand new 4x4 teuck, then suddenly they see the ground collapse beneath them and explode when the truck lands on mines. Is that possible? I don't have enough casino tokens to test it with a truck of my own because I'm squirreling my treasure away in buried chests all over the snow because those bastards are after me. | Who else increases XP to get skill points faster? Posted: 31 Dec 2019 05:30 PM PST I was playing and thinking once you get to level 40-50 leveling really takes a bit of time. I was thinking off the bat to increase the XP multiplier to 1.5 or 2.0 the regular value. Does anyone else do this and how does the game play? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 31 Dec 2019 10:12 AM PST So after placing a land claim block on my land, all the wires disappeared, all the engines in my generators disappeared, and all the batteries in my battery bank disappeared, as well as all the doors, and some other objects in my base bug out and render in and out of existence. Does anybody know how to fix this? I've destroyed the land claim block and put it down again, put new doors and it did the same thing. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 31 Dec 2019 10:41 AM PST I was testing out a new design for a horde base, and although it was very much invincible, it was not in the way I intended. Basically, it was a pitfall base at bedrock, on horizontal supports. Zombies couldn't even pathfind to me so they just sat on the roof and wouldn't attack, so I decided to use debug menu to reset the day to before the horde, so I could hopefully try out a different design. Only problem, I forgot you can only set the day to 16 right now for some silly reason, so now I'm stuck fast forwarding 50+ days to get to my current time. It seems that horde nights have been eliminated as well, although my settings still have them as every 5 days. Anyone had a similar issue and know how to fix it? I just about maxed everything I needed to start enjoying myself with basebuilding, and I really don't want to have to restart from day 1and the grindfest that is 'waiting to be able to mine bullets efficiently'. I am a big fan of both the TWD games and the TV show and I'd like to have zombies and the world similar to those of TWD like there will be more zombies but they are weaker and they only can die from headshot, ammo will be hard to find and there will be less loot overall.
