    Clearing a snowy cathedral amidst a snowstorm. I love how this game is either eerily calm or breathtakingly intense. There is no in-between.

    Alright, hear me out - I know that's literally the games mechanic, but I always play the game as a survival open world game as if to say I was in The Walking Dead or something without the stress of having to do the standard horde stuff.

    Does anybody else play like this at all?

    Little tip: An icon over any book shows whether you have read it or not.

    When looking over books there are two different icons to display whether you have that schematic/skill/recipe, with an open book meaning you've already read it and a closed book meaning you havn't.

    Dumb little tip that might be blindingly obvious but after playing for hours our group of four finally noticed on day 35. Even if this doesn't help anyone because it's common knowledge, at least you can laugh at our pain.

    I am a new player currently on day 23 of my first playthrough. Right now I am pretty set when it comes to crafting and I can't do much else in game because I still haven't found a crucible or a crucible schematic. Don't you guys think being 23 days in and not being able to get a crucible is pretty absurd? At this point, I have to spend all my next skill points to get the skill to be able to craft crucibles but I'm 100%certain that when I do that the crucibles will come raining in. Does anybody else have the same problem?

    Help pls?

    So I haven't got any answers on forums, maybe you people could help me out. My game is working all fine, the fps are decent etc. Me and my few friends are playing on this server, but there is something weird going on. I get randomly kicked back to menu with no error whatsoever, while doing basic tasks like crafting and sometimes totally randomly. My friends do not have this problem at all and neither do the other people playing there. Any ideas please? Ah yea, it's on PC

    I've noticed if you open a hatch from below while a zombie is standing on it, and the hatch opens against a wall then the zombie usually gets stuck between the hatch and the wall..

    So I'm guessing if you raid a poi and drop a storage chest out front and then have a quest at that poi you lose the storage chest and everything in it right ?

    My friend and I are playing. We haven't change any setting other than increasing the difficulty. We prep for night 21 and there is no blood moon at all? Is this a bug?

    Learning from Schematics

    Question: Lets say I am going perception with most of my perks and find schematic that lets me make pump shot-guns:

    I can only craft it as a level 1. Is there a way to improve this so I can build level 2 /3...ect shotguns or do I have to invest in strength then shotgun messiah perk?

    Game keeps freezing help!

    Hey guys , my game keeps freezing but the screen goes the same color as the object i was looking at before it froze, so say im looking at the sky, my pc will freeze, a blue screen will apear and it will shut of, then i log back in and keep playing as if nothing happened, any ides ? Thanks

    Electricity Limitations

    Hey everyone,

    Question for ya'll on electricity. Only part of my grid seems to turn on and the others seem to shut off. I have a timer that turns on defense from 22:00 to 4:30. Both electric fences and blades.

    On grid I have: Generator: Solar Bank with 2 Lvl 3 Solar Cells producing max 44w and currently at 32w

    Power Storage: Battery Bank 1 (lvl 6 x 6 batteries) [300w], Battery Bank 2 (lvl 6 x 2, lvl 5 x 2, lvl 4 x 2) [272w], Battery Bank 3 (lvl 4 x 3, lvl 3 x 3) [234w], Battery Bank 4 (lvl 3 x 2, lvl 2 x 4) [206w]

    Normal Items:

    • Draw bridge [5w], 4x relays [4w] and 2x motion sensors [10w]

    • Garage door [5w], motion sensor [5w], trigger plate [1w], 2x relays [2w]

    Defense:

    • 21x Electric fence posts [105w] , 2x relay [2w], 1 switch [1w], 1 timer [1w]

    • 76x blade traps [1520w], 2 switch [2w], 4 relays [ww], 2 timers [2w]. The traps are not all placed, i've only got about half down, but I made two chains, each with its own timer and switch.

    So a recap: Power gen is 44w max, batteries in the battery banks do not seem to all charge (ex battery bank 1 has 6 lvl 6's and only charges about 4 of them at the end of the day). Bridge and garage on motion sensors work fine during the day, but they shut down at night when the fences and blades come on.

    So, during the night when the traps come on, only 14 of the blades come on, all of the fences seem active. If i hit the switch on the 14 active blades, the other 14 turn on, turning the switch back to on allows all 28 to run. The issue is that not always do all 14 come on on each side.

    I'm trying to understand this system of power. I understand my best bet is to set up a solar and a battery for the house stuff, and run the traps separately but those solar cells are expensive. What is limiting my power? Is it the 4 battery banks max output of [1012w]? If so, why does part of my system shut down at night and not all of the blades come on (the blades are daisy chained with the center having one chain go clock wise, the other counter clock wise)

    Any advice on how to set this up would truly be appreciated. Let me know if pictures would help I can make an album of all the connections.

    What would make multiplayer on open servers more attractive and functional?

    I'm always wondering what can Fun Pimps do in order to make multiplayer better. It seems like multiplayer on servers are broken as not many people actually play them, especially when it comes to PVP. What can be done? Think of other popular PVP base building games and what might be used in 7D2D.
