Posted: 12 Jul 2020 05:30 PM PDT Let me start by saying I'm a gunsmith and general gun nerd so I think about these things a lot more than most lol. Of course I know this isn't the game for gun realism (things like racking the slide every time you reload and not cocking the hammers on the double barrel shotgun drive me crazy haha) but my mind goes where it goes. I was crafting some ammo the other day and was thinking steel cases would be an awesome addition. For those who don't know, steel cased ammo is actually somewhat common. It's been done since before the world wars, with even the US doing it during WWII when there was a copper shortage (anybody who has 1943 steel pennies is probably familiar). Now, steel ammo is famously not the same quality as brass and you obviously wouldn't want it to be as good for gameplay balance. I imagine it would be tied to some type of perk or recipe, not immediately available. I imagine it would lower power, accuracy (they're much less accurate on average) and increase degradation. Maybe more skills in a perk lessens these disadvantages. You could get extra cool points if you tied its performance to the gun. For instance, an AK is designed to shoot steel case ammo while it performs very poorly in a hunting rifle or revolver. I don't know if it would change the meta but I definitely might choose to make more inferior ammo rather than spending time and attention chasing and smelting brass sources. Actually adventurer, there is something that you might be able to do for us. See, Traitor Joe's was thinking of expanding. And there's this piece of property up the road that might look like a good spot for an outpost. But the place is overrun by zombies. We need you to clear out the zombies and report back. After the kitchen, lighting, Aircons, electrical boxes, and cars out front I usually get about 200 electrical parts,200 mechanical parts and other shit. If I sell the parts flat out, I'm making about 5k of coin per house just with the parts. With quests resetting everything this can go on forever. I literally have a chest that is a quarter full of coin, mostly from sold parts from the last couple of week's. There need to be limits on the number of parts that can be sold, just like on weapons and tools! Or something else to do with the parts, like shock ammo or something [link] [comments] | ||

The silencer for shotguns! But quick online search shows they actually exist! Another odd combination is bow/crossbow structural brace mod which states it's for melee weapons and tools Many interesting mods compatible with the Robotic Sledge Bugs i discovered while making this list: The Trigger Group: Burst Mod goes to tool belt instead of inventory first unlike all others mods Mods in tool belt do not highlight usable until you pick one up off tool belt, then all usable tool belt items start highlighting properly. It will even show incompatible items compatible on tool belt when switching between modding items until picking up an item on tool belt to refresh Please let me know if i missed anything, Longer then i expected to put this together, i spent 5 hours on this today and started going crazy, most likely missed something. I probably could have presented this differently with less repetition but i wanted a way to look up specific item and immediately see a list of all mods and descriptions. I have stacks of almost everything besides peas.
