By posting here you can find friends to play and survive with! Remember, you don't need to be faster than the zombies just faster than your friends ;) Please leave your Steam/XB1/PSN name, what time zone you're in and works best for you, and (If you're on PC) any mods you may be using. Posted: 08 Feb 2019 09:11 AM PST I always see new players asking for tips, so here's the main one: BONES and MURKY WATER > GLUE > DUCT TAPE Collect any of these ingredients wherever they may be to eventually get duct tape either with a campfire and a cooking pot or the chemistry station. Never throw out any of these ingredients. You'll need cloth to but that's everywhere. Walking by a Trader Joel's? Buy up ALL of their glue and duct tape. Don't turn your nose at trash either, because they often contain glue and duct tape. See that majestic deer walking by? You have enough food, so you don't need to kill it. Right? Wrong! Rip it's bones out for that precious duct tape! You need duct tape for everything important. Here is a list of everything that requires duct tape, from guns to armor: https://7daystodie.gamepedia.com/Duct_Tape Food, water and ammo eventually become a small chore. But duct tape? No way man. I say the endgame is a chest full to the brim with duct tape. EDIT: also keep your eye out for ACID [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Feb 2019 06:03 PM PST Farming ModletHey all! I just put out my expansion to my modlet that so many of you loved :) Thankyou all for the amazing support on these projects. It's been exciting to be able to discover new and awesome things, and share them all with you! Well, this past week I worked on this expansion. Though the content isn't a lot, there is some heavy work behind it :) I fully animated the Cows, Pigs, and Chickens to move around their "area". Hopefully this will add plenty of life to your farmlands! :D I would also like to thank Stasis personally, the creator of Farmlife Mod. When we both got started on our projects, we had no idea the other was existing. If only we met a month before :( But, we both spent a lot of time, and rewrote a good portion of our modlets, so that they may work together :D They do not "use" each other, but the naming and icon pathing has all been readjusted to allow our amazing fans to play both projects, and enjoy them to their fullest! Hope you all enjoy! Expansion 1.1:Change log:

Posted: 08 Feb 2019 04:55 PM PST I usually just shack up in the nearest abandoned house, which doesn't bode well for blood moons. I also end up with 3-4 chest fulls of stuff that would be a nightmare to move to a better base should i come across a one. Any ideas on a design to build my own, and location? In between water and trader maybe? Side note, which items should i keep and toss? I usually keep all ammo, 1 of each gun, all crafting supplies, food and water. So, basically everything, except for the junk i scrap. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Feb 2019 03:54 PM PST Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows of a fix for not being able to interact with the mini bike? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Massive errors after playing a new save for a while Posted: 08 Feb 2019 01:33 PM PST So this has happened to me twice now, where I'll start to get repeating errors that prevent me from continuing that save. They persist after restarting and i just get flooded with object reference not set to an instance of an object. As I said, this has happened to me twice now and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it, read about it happening to other people, and if there was a known fix for this? Thanks. Game freezes for 30 seconds every 10 to 15 minutes -- possible Unity engine crashes? Posted: 08 Feb 2019 11:01 AM PST Is anyone else experiencing Unity crashes every 10 to 15 minutes? Every 10 to 15 minutes the game will freeze up and lag horribly (FPS drop to single digits), lasting around 30 seconds, then everything returns to normal. Outside of those instances, the game runs steller. I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue and the CPU usage drops to almost nothing when this occurs. There aren't any processes running that I can find (i've even tried killing everything non-essential prior to playing) . The only unusual thing I've noticed is a "unitycrashreporter.exe" process (or something similar) running when this happens, so I'm assuming the Unity engine is crashing and restarting on me? PC: i7 6700 / 32 gb RAM / nvidia 1080 Has anyone else had similar issues, and/or can offer ideas on further troubleshooting? Any help would be appreciated and please let me know if you need further details. [link] [comments]
What's the deal with getting the same quest locations over and over again? Posted: 08 Feb 2019 01:39 AM PST As the title suggests, my fella and I only seem to get the same couple of quest locations over and over again. What gives? We are playing on the Navezgane map, camped out in the Gas Station East of Diersville but regularly make trips to all the traders to pick up and hand in quests. Sadly, when it comes to the highest tier quests, we only ever seem to get the same 5/6 locations, regardless of the trader we select our quests from. Hospital_01 - Hospital in Diersville, on the South East quadrant. Factory_LG_01 - Either the Shamway or the Shotgun Messiah factory, can't remember which was round they are numbered. Factory_LG-02 - Either the Shamway or the Shotgun Messiah factory, can't remember which was round they are numbered. Church_01 - The large church on the South West corner of Perishton in the snow zone Business_Strip_04 - East edge of Perishton Creepy Resident Evil Mansion in the snow zone, North and slightly West of Diersville. We would ideally like some more locations but any other location we see is given a much lower tier quest so it's not worth it at this point in the game (he's level 130, I'm 125). Is there something we are missing, or are we destined to clear and fetch from these same 6 locations for ever? [link] [comments]
About the experience required for the levels Posted: 08 Feb 2019 08:24 AM PST I've read on the xml files that experience starts with ~9000 exp for the next level and grows by about 4% <level max\_level="300" exp\_to\_level="9545" experience\_multiplier="1.0149" skill\_points\_per\_level="1"> <!-- A15: 8000 XP for level 1 and 134k for level 199, total cumulative of 9MXP; XPRequired = exp_to_level * experience_multiplier ^ level --> <!-- A16: 8300 XP for level 1, total cumulative of 11MXP --> But now that I hit level 130 I'm realising that the 0.149% growth is most definitely exponential. Running a few calculations show that the 100th level will require as much as 4.38 times the experience of level 1 ,level 200 will require as much as 19.25 times the experience of level 1 and level 300 will require as much as 84.52 times the experience of level 1. If those calculations are correct, then the level requirements are just too great and grow way too fast for me. Is there any way to edit the xml files to makes this transition grow linearly or perhaps an in-game way to grow experience linearly? Or even better edit the way zombies give experience to grow with the levels? I'm sitting at 130 level and the burning zombies give ~10% or so more experience compared to my ~19x experience requirements to reach level 200. Is there a way to change this? Thanks for any input.
