Is this game still worth buying again?

I used to have it but traded about a year and a half ago. Has anything changed? Should I buy it again?

    Are distant areas active ?

I recently started a new game and spawned in a snow biome. If I find a warmer biome, I'd like to build a farm. So the questions is: Will the crops still grow if I'm at my base, or do I have to stay near the farm ?

    I miss quality effects

    Posted: 18 Mar 2019 09:48 AM PDT

Hey there, this post is in regards to the latest update that removed quality effects of items and instead allows for better modding & better sustain. (Max durability.) But what this took away from was the fact that a lvl 1 Sniper Rifle will do just as much damage as a lvl 6 Sniper Rifle.

Like, if I decided to make a sniper rifle out of twigs, plastics, and recycled condom wrappers, it would be doing the same amount of damage as a professional of the craft making a sniper rifle. It's just that, I can only use mine 100 times, and I can use his 1000 times. I understand that this saves materials and the like, but materials don't mean anything later on into the game. And I'm not saying late game, I'm more saying that mid game I generally don't have a problem with materials. This is around lvl 30.

What are your thoughts on the new system? My thoughts are that: a professionally crafted sniper rifle should be doing more damage than a crude sniper rifle. If I was at the shop, I wouldn't be spending all of my caps on the best sniper - because I can just buy a shitty one and keep a bunch of repair kits on me. (Repair kits are inexpensive and easy to mass) The integrity of the gun should at least have SOME kind of impact other than having more mods and durability.

    Question

    Posted: 18 Mar 2019 04:39 AM PDT

Alright, I've tried asking this question in every possible way I could think of so I'm going to try it here. Can anyone tell me the side by side version of 7dtd from pc to console? Exp. Console ver. 1.18 = PC ver. ???

    Thank you
