| Coming back after a few years - underground bases? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 08:39 AM PDT So I'm going to be starting back up a 17, huge number of improvements it looks like (last time I played they had just introduced motor bikes) and I love making underground bases. At one point zombies would dig, then they wouldn't then they would etc. If you build an underground base do they dig down at a diagonal to get to you or do they just stand directly above all the sound making equipment so you need multiple escape tunnels? They have improved the stamina and health system, but I just hate only being able to run for 5 seconds and having the stupid encumbered buff. I don't care for realism, I just want a fun game. | Posted: 10 Apr 2019 05:58 AM PDT Seeing as there are a ton of modlets out there, I was wondering if anyone has seen or used a modlet/mod that allows you to display weapons (guns, bows or melee) on a wall or in a gun/weapon rack that is 17.2 compatible. My goal is to build a war/ready room, (simply for aesthetic reasons) and have weapons hung on a wall, kind of like any over the top action movie. Thanks in advance! | Posted: 10 Apr 2019 12:17 PM PDT i knew how to find oil shale in alpha 16. go to the desert and dig down. but i dug all the way to bedrock and i am digging around randomly and still cant find any. some people say you have to dig down to a specific depth, but which depth is it ? and how the heck do you see at what elevation you are ? on my map screen it says +3 but i am literally standing on bedrock. can someone help me ? Apparently the PC version is a lot more deep and fun, but there's no split screen (me and my step-sister play a lot of co op survival games).
