    A Geopolitically Oriented Server

    In the months preceding the release of a17, I had proposed the vague idea of a server in which four factions would be given territory in the Navezgane wasteland and vie for power. At the time, this idea fell through as it was very under developed and ultimately had little investment or interest to keep the project going. I have thought through it more and am posting this here to test for interest.

    The server would feature, at the start, three factions, based in the three major cities of the Navezgane wasteland;-Republic of Departure-People's Republic of Perishton-Gravestown Empire

    To facilitate the formation of genuine geopolitics, the entire system of perks and recipes will be retooled to facilitate trade specialisation and chains of production.

    -Perks will unlock very specific recipes requiring more general skills

    -Recipes will be more involved so as to facilitate the need for trade

    -Recipes for nearly every item in the game will be added to emphasise the need to coordinate and trade

    -Plantlife such as crops and trees will take far longer to regrow, requiring more coordinated management to make effective use of

    -Loot respawning will be turned off altogether, making much more meaningful the need to acquire raw resources

    -Broken crafting stations and furniture will be upgradeable into their usable equivalents

    -Trader NPC will be removed from the game and their buildings will be subject to looting

    -The impact of zombies will be severely reduced, putting much more emphasis on the struggle between the factions. The specifics of this will be subject to community input

    What do you all think of this all? Would you play on this server should it see release? Would any of you be interested in helping to host this server?

    Sorry if this has been posted a lot, I'm new to this subreddit. Basically can anyone explain how updates work on console? I've asked a number of people and they've all given me different answers. When can we expect a new update?

    Is it impossible to copy a stablized building from prefab menu?

    Every building keep collapses whenever I add/remove a block on the building I pasted using prefab menu. No matter how firm the building is, the result is same on every attempts. How should I do to make it not happening?

    Difficulty, solo Vs 2 player

    So I've been playing 7D with a friend. We've reached level 60, I'm enjoying it, and I'm thinking of a solo game.

    I've never played solo.

    How does it compare? Will it be harder, as I'll have to generalise? With two of us, we've been very specialised, in terms of skills. One player int/perception, the other endurance/strength.

    Will the zombies scale the same way? What else changes that I won't have thought about?

    I haven't played in a while, and I don't remember there being a 3rd person option/setting or talk of adding one. I'm fine with 1st person, personally, but I feel like this game is perfect for my brother, who can't play 1st person views without getting sick.

    I wasn't sure if it was an option or not, so I figured I'd ask.

    Bug?: Yeah, Science! and Hammer and forge perks disabled by nonexisting status effects.

    I am playing on PC and 17.2 patch. On my current run I am on day 18 and my guy is level 79. Now for some reason my Yeah, science! and hammer and forge perks are both disabled by status effects even though on my character/status effect screen I have no status effects active, which makes me think this is a bug. Both of these perks are leveled up, but disabled partially or completely. This kinda screws my game since I cant build a forge or a workbench now, even though i have invested enough points that I should be able to.

    There seemed to be a bug similar to this like 5 months ago on experimental patch but that ought to be fixed by now? Are there any fixes to this or am I just being a retard and not understanding some feature of the game which causes this issue?

    Anyone who browses the sub often know that theres been an influx of Console posts, and if anyones like myself then they're getting tired of seeing it over and over. Theres a search button for a reason.

    So petition for the mods to start deleting console posts. It's obvious the console port is dead and no one gives a shit about console now so we shouldent have to see them on an hourly basis.

    inb4 console scrubs downvote.
