Hey DEVs and Joel... How a bout adding in a small craftable motor boat or raft? Posted: 05 May 2019 02:45 PM PDT Over the many years that this game has been out we've had many different types of vehicles from the very glitchy mini bike to the latest we have in Alpha 17. How ever I would like to make a suggestion. I would like to see a small motorized raft or human powered raft or small boat added into the game. It would make life for crossing a body of water a bit easier and a bit more interesting. I'd also like to see maybe a scuba kit come into the game as well since I'm finding sometimes that a lot of supply drops get literally dropped under a lake and they are tough to get to if the lake is deep. Gameplay idea: Camp Communities Posted: 05 May 2019 12:09 PM PDT So, my idea is this, what if there were NPC scattered around the world (maybe in some POI's or just around roads) where you can invite them to your "community" or "camp", you may need to complete a mission for them first. You will need at least a bed, shelter and some food in order for them to stay in your "camp/community". Why would you want these NPCs? well, they would specialise in certain attributes such as: Gathering resources, gathering food, finding weapon parts etc... Of course this wouldn't be mandatory, so why add this? just a neat way to create a more interesting and longer end game. I think this would be a nice addition, even though i don't think it will happen XD [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 05 May 2019 02:29 PM PDT I've never been a fan of the running zombies in 7dtd, nor a big fan of how they can punch thru concrete/metal. The metal/concrete I can kinda be ok with as otherwise they would never get to you or even have a chance to. However I find it silly how every zombie can run at night. ferals I guess I can let slide as they are special infected. So I know I can disable it in the options, I'd probally make it so ferals can still run (albet 1 speed setting down), but normal zombies cannot run except on blood moon (even then 1 speed setting down from sprint). My question is what could I modify to make the game more balance to counteract the fact zombies will bascally never run (fast anyway). [link] [comments] | ||
How to Play with Friends using Portforwarding? Posted: 05 May 2019 09:11 PM PDT Hello I'm a PC user and just got this game to play with a friend. We just want to use P2P connection without going through steam invite. I enabled portforwarding on my router and asked him to join my game via my IPv4 address and port# 26900, but he couldn't join. My game version is Alpha 17.2 and I set the port range to 26900-26902. Is there a possible fix? Thanks. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 05 May 2019 11:23 AM PDT I haven't evaluated mods for a while since a17 launched. I'm still working on an idea to set up a server for a group of friends that is roleplay based using things like quests and seeding of info/items and the like to tell a story (e.g. Escape from Navezgane). What do folks think is currently the best mod from a classing standpoint? I know several have introduced the idea of giving players a starting class, and grouping various skill trees to better silo player archetypes. Does one stand out to you? [link] [comments] | ||

Attributes should still be earned skyrim style Posted: 05 May 2019 12:26 AM PDT I absolutely love this feature, now i feel like I'm wasting my points on attributes before i can unlock something that i actually want to unlock. This also allowed you to play your own way rather than forcing you to go down a certain path, if i wanted to play as a builder, i have to sacrifice my power in order to build better, or get more resources than doing more damage, this is one of my most hated features in a17 [link] [comments] | ||
