For those struggling with bag space right at the start Posted: 22 Oct 2019 04:24 PM PDT You do NOT need pack mule immediately or ever. You are also not at a disadvantage if you chose not to be a str build. Right off the bat you can build "cargo storage" (I believe that's there name it's cargo something). It will take a workbench but you should be able to find at least 1 working one nearby, be it a trader or a random mansion, They are relatively cheap to make and add 2 bag spaces to "clothing" not armor clothing. Such as jeans, jacket, t-shirt etc. This can very early on build your bag to a decent lvl with no pack mule or storage pockets needed. Just thought I'd spread the message as a lot of people and streamers have not realised it's there [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 09:10 AM PDT Goggles are not created equal, they can vary in the loot bonus number. For example, the first set I found had a +10 loot bonus, but a recently found set had a +19 loot bonus! Check those bonuses for fun and profit! [link] [comments]

Why did they Remove - You already know this recipe? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 01:06 PM PDT Why was this feature removed? It's annoying (like in the past) to have to go digging to see if I know a recipe already, so I can sell them instead of wasting them. [link] [comments]
If you are using "spears," have more than one on your inventory! Posted: 22 Oct 2019 04:17 PM PDT The game treats all stone spears on your tool belt as one single stone spear. This is why when you go pick up all your stone spears, only one would go onto your tool belt. Having to put the stone spears on your tool belt again can be frustrating, but you can get around this limitation by using a stone spear, an iron spear, and a steel spear. Once all three spears have been thrown, each spear would go back to its assigned spot on your tool belt after you have picked it up. Stone spears are for throwing - cheap to make, and it doesn't have to be picked up after it's been thrown. It only cost 5 rocks, 3 plant fibers, and 3 wood. If you missed with the first stone spear and wants to be sneaky, just craft another spear and try again. Iron spear - backup spear in case the first one didn't do the job. Only throw when you know you'll be able to pick it up. Hurts a little when you lose it. Steel spear - the only spear I'd use as a melee weapon. If you want to open with big damage against a single zombie in a safe environment, throw this one. Never lose it. Cool mods that you can use on spears:

Posted: 22 Oct 2019 08:11 AM PDT ALPHA 18 EXPERIMENTAL WAS going for a stealth build which now is pretty much useless since every time i hit any zombie with any type of weapon they immediately start running/sprinting (why is this a thing now?) and they magically move from one point to another without fluid movement or just teleporting JUST enough to not get hit by whatever weapon you're using? I mean they're supposed to be zombies not high paid ninja assassins from a future dimension that has lag/teleport technology right? Shouldn't they just shuffle in a zombie like manner, not with the agility of a gazelle and the dodging abilities of Muhamed Ali? If all this is intentional its not very fun at the moment in my opinion. Just trying to give feedback and a little joking so i hope you don't think im just complaining, but this doesn't seem right at all. They're not acting like zombies, they're acting like glitches and bad programming for what was intended on being zombies. I've done maybe 3 quests today and every single one of them goes like this: sneak in, shoot one zombie, zombie runs towards me in a zig-zag pattern Jerry Rice would be jealous of, when i try to shoot the zombie with my bow they immediately start teleporting just out of the cross-hairs gliding on the ground and moving with the finesse of, NOT A ZOMBIE, but that of a professional teleporting/epileptic/glitchinthematrix ballerina. Now of course i have to stop sneaking because tanking hits means infection and bleeding so i stand up to wake up every other zed in the POI now having to deal with 4 to 5 zeds trying to jump start my stun baton so they'll be stunned, which also isn't very effective if they can still slap at you while they're being shocked. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me. Please fix this, and if its intended to be this annoying then can we please have the option to turn off the rage/lag/teleport/cheating/glitching mode? Its just not fun having to lose so much ammo to missed shots because of the cheating they seem to be doing now. [link] [comments]
Had to fight the horde twice last night Posted: 22 Oct 2019 10:55 AM PDT Hey guys, I fought the 7th day horde yesterday, defeated every zombie and took down some of my defenses and removed some weapons from my inventory. Right after that, I logged out and saved. Well, today I loaded into my world and had to fight the horde again, but this time they immediately broke through my unblocked door and teared everything to shreds. I survived but wasted tons of ammo etc. Do I have to wait till 4:00 next time or where did I screw up? [link] [comments]
Found this little gem in the config XML files. Posted: 22 Oct 2019 02:16 PM PDT <!-- perkIntrinsicImmunity update; will likely have to overhaul diseases but... not now --> [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 10:51 PM PDT Guys I have no idea how to update my 7dtd PC version to A18. I got the game from steam. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 10:31 PM PDT Everytime I try to load into a game the command prompt comes up and spams 'nullreferenceexception object reference not set to an instance of an object'. I've uninstalled and installed the game and tried on other updates. I've cleaned and verified the data but nothing seems to work. Anyone have the same issue? [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 01:42 PM PDT Dumb question but i just started getting back into 7d2d and i see everyone playing on alpha 18 but im still on alpha 17.4, how do i update to 18? [link] [comments]
Anyone check out the new PREGEN worlds? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 01:34 PM PDT I'm looking to stream the game with friends and we're all a little burned out on Navisgane and I was wondering if anyone has checked out the new PREGEN'd worlds and if they would recommend one over the others? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 03:03 PM PDT Why the hell does it take 4 shots to the dome to kill a pig AFTER hitting it at full speed on my motorcycle? Porky bastard shrugged off the hit like it was nothing and proceeded to almost kill me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 05:00 PM PDT Any survivers wanna join me with a "realistic" game? It gets boring when you have no one to help you [link] [comments]

A18 and crafting level 6 gear plans. Posted: 22 Oct 2019 09:21 AM PDT Anyone know what the plans are for crafting and level 6 items? Are we eventually going to be able to craft them or are we going to be stuck with level 5 crafting only? [link] [comments]
Is intellect a must for solo players? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:44 PM PDT Looking to do a game solo. Can I use traders or POI's for workbenches, cement mixers, and forges? Or is stuff like forged iron/steel and all that skill required? [link] [comments]
Question about keybindings and mouse buttons Posted: 22 Oct 2019 03:24 PM PDT Any suggestions of what would be a good keybind to have on the buttons on the side of my mouse?(If any at all) I don't use them in this game but I feel there could be some useful options people use them for [link] [comments]
Should I invest in pack mule and the mining perks? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 03:16 PM PDT So I recently got my first a18 world going and I decided to specialized in fortitude and intelligence. After looking around I noticed that strength has some really good perks. Are they worth sinking some pretty valuable levels in or should I just ignore them? [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 11:30 AM PDT Apologies if I have missed a post (i tried to search). The problem is that we have a base on top of a mountain with low level garage access and a shaft linking downstairs with the base on top of the mountain. In the past we were able to use the hatch trick as a "lift" but they've patched it out. Does anyone know of an alternative? Are they planning powered lifts or anything.Thoughts on the possibility of more "powered" features? Again, I play every year around December so I may have missed a lot. [link] [comments] |
