My flying bears aren't fast enough. Posted: 01 Dec 2019 12:59 PM PST So I subbed in the animal type for bear to vulture to make them fly because I couldn't see a value for fly in the xml. But now they're slow. It's like... yeah there's a bear. But it's like trying to shoot down a blimp. They're so big and slow they aren't scary at all. help? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 01 Dec 2019 07:40 PM PST Ill go to a quest location and activate the rally point, clear half the area, quit the game for whatever reason, and when I open the game again it tells me to activate the rally point which rests all I've done. This is on PC singleplayer 18.1 . I've had 2 tier 5 fetch and clear quest do this. [link] [comments] | ||

Getting as low as 10FPS when all past updates it's ran fine. Does the full release run a little better? Also if so what seems to be the best early game weapon or general strategy now? Need a bit of bug ironing help for my server. Posted: 01 Dec 2019 05:16 PM PST So i got a long list of things i need to get addressed to try and help get my server running properly again. Ill try and give you guys as much context as possible. Recently (As in the last 3 weeks.) We wiped our server and started over, We were on day 500. we were originally using an in game generated map prior to the wipe. Now we are using an 8k nitrogen map. (For those of you who don't know nitrogen is a program that gives you much more control over map generation.) The map settings were maxxed across the board, We have the full set of PoIs spawning on the server. (Caves, Skyscrapers, ect.) This map takes a massive amount of ram to run server side. (Not a problem we are doing fine for the most part.) More than 50% of the map is metropolitian, roughly 30% town based. The remaining 20% is a mix of wilderness and redneck poi locations. We are using Allocs on the server By the way. We have done some XML Editing, (We 2xed the damage of most melee weapons excluding baseball bat sledge and stun baton.) We added the blessed metal mod to the drop list and enable the crafting recipe as well as the blueprint drop. We have some people complaining of serious lag issues, Not everyone though. Some people are randomly falling through the map for some reason. A few cases of players dying and losing their gear from falling through the map oddly. We've had a few cases where zombies walk through solid walls, Doors and other things. Sometimes they aggro other times they keep shambling through buildings like they aren't even there even past players. Some players complain that their vehicles are teleporting when they get off them. I asked them if they were coming to a full stop before exiting ride mode and they said yes so i am not sure what is causing this. Occasionally people will log on and some textures are replaced with what appeared to be tiled marble blocks not sure what is causing that but its easily fixed by relogging still would like to know what is causing it. Occasionally people (Normally those flying gyros.) Complain about invisible walls that cause them to crash, Lose control of their Gyro and plummet down to the ground. Another problem we are experiencing is that quite frequently as of late, the server is randomly crashing which is a huge problem. Prior to the wipe we never had this issue the server had a 99% up time without needing restarts. Also we have had some issues with Allocs where their commands (Primarily resetunclaimedregions.) Don't function properly. We have had a case where some unclaimed areas aren't even touched and some claimed areas so not sure what is causing this. Also oddly we have had some trouble with auto reloads. Not sure what thats about either Anyone have any information that might be able to lend us a hand in ironing these bugs out? Mods that bring back building blocks? Posted: 01 Dec 2019 05:22 AM PST In A18, it seems that a bunch of building blocks (ie ramps or jail doors) are no longer in the game. How do I scrap tools in alpha 18? Posted: 01 Dec 2019 04:57 AM PST I'm being really thick and overlooking something obvious, but I can't work out how to scrap a wrench, for example. It has other options like repair but not scrap. The item description says "Scraps to iron". The scrap option appears for other items. [link] [comments] | ||
I died and my backpack isn't there Posted: 30 Nov 2019 11:26 PM PST I know this has been asked before, but not recently. I looked for a while near the map marker, and dug near where I died, but found nothing. I was not on a hill or near trees. There was no lag. I was killed by a bear and a crawler. The bear despawned by the time I got back. The crawler didn't and I killed it. Does anyone know where it could be? Thank you. [link] [comments] |
