    How are you supposed to play a NOT intelligence build?

    So the title may seem stupid, but my issue with 7 days to die, is that it is impossible for me not to play an intelligence build.

    Issue is, without any kind of vehicle, it is impossible to do quests or to collect any kind of resources, atleast for me it is.

    For example, I have my current game, I love it, but the game spawned me in the middle of the desert. While I do love the desert biome, it is missing coal. No issue, with a motorcycle I can get to a forest biome in like 5 min, but only because I have an intelligence build.

    I would love to play other types of builds, but I HATE walking everywhere.

    Also, traders are so far apart, that the same issue shows itself, that without vehicle, you cannot go around traders to get some vehicle.

    You might say "But you can find recipes for vehicles!"

    So far, in day 40, I found a bicycle handlebar, a motorcycle chasis, and a 4x4 chasis recipe. Were I not using my intelligence build, I would still use my feetbus to get around.

    Did anyone found any solution for this, or I am playing the game horribly wrong?

    Zombie spawning rate for bloodmoon is too low and/or broken?

    I did some googling and poking around and it looks like there are some (very questionable, I must add) limitations on BM spawns:

    • The spawner triggers in "waves" with a delay of 1 seconds between "waves";

    • Players are assigned to "BM parties", same party if they are within 30 meters from each other, different parties otherwise;

    • Each "wave" only triggers for 1 party at a time in a cycle; so, if there is 1 BM party, it gets "waves" every 1 second; with N parties online, every party only gets the "wave" once in N seconds;

    • Each "wave" only spawns zombies for up to 3 players; a BM party that has more than 3 players in it still only gets 3 players worth of zombies top.

    For players on live servers it means that, since spawns are capped to 3 per wave and waves are much less frequent with 2-3 player "groups" - even 1 player in size - around, zombies often just don't spawn quickly enough to become a problem, or end up being killed quicker than new ones spawn.

    We encountered a problem just like this on one of MP servers - as soon as over 2-3 players are online and not all of them are in the same place, BMs become too easy and almost boring, regardless of configs and in-game condition.

    So,

    • Has anybody else encountered this problem?

    • Are the spawns really limited so much?

    • Are there workarounds to increase spawn rate?a

    How does the final Pistol Pete perk interact with HP 9mm rounds?

    The perk for collecting all the magazines states it ignores armor when fired at point blank.

    With the HP rounds increasing armor, does that mean the HP rounds will do the most damage out of any bullets at point blank regardless of what they are wearing?

    Edit: Looked through the XML files and found this

    <passive_effect name="TargetArmor" operation="perc_add" level="1" value="-.2"> <requirement name="HoldingItemHasTags" tags="9mmGun"/> <requirement name="TargetRange" target="other" operation="LTE" value="3"/> 

    So it looks like it only subtracts 0.2 armor within 3 blocks?

    I tested with a pistol, HP 9mm and a soldier zombie in melee range. HP took 4 headshots to kill and i got the 'pinging' noises like it was deflecting, and the AP 9mm killed on first headshot without dismembering.

    Allow something other than the camp fire to cook on...

    they added a wood burning stove to the game, it should be usable. Also any fire barrel would just need a grill to be able to cook on. and if you connect power to ranges and refrigerators they should also work.

    I try to start my game, it goes to this screen and won't go any further. Just happened suddenly and I've not made any changes. Tried re-booting the computer, no luck.

    Render issue

    While playing on a multiplayer server I host for a few friends and myself noticed an issue with the map not staying rendered in unless next to a player. I've spent awhile searching for how to fix this so if anyone has any idea please help.

    Farm plots bugged

    Random farm plots just won't take a seed. You try to plant it and the seed instantly uproots to a collectible bag. I've tried different seeds in the plot and no luck. I've tried digging up and replacing the plot and still no luck. I've tried placing a new plot in the same spot and also no luck. It's almost like that voxel is unusable for a farm plot. And suggestions? Is this a known bug? A18.1 world upgraded to A18.2.
