| Single Player noob Blood Moon settings advice Posted: 31 Mar 2020 03:27 PM PDT Hi everybody! I tried looking this stuff up and I didn't get very far. I think I need your experience. I'm playing SP on Navezgane at default difficulty, and the blood moons are a little much. The overall difficulty is fine. 1) Do I need to somehow designate the game as 'single player'? 2) I like the blood moon every 7 days. I just need it to be about half as hard because I'm enjoying playing immersion-style, so I'm not looking to build double-bases or nerdpoles or anything power gamer in that way. I'm currently living through about a third or half the blood moons, and repairing my base for a little too long afterward. Like..... the game is not sending 8 zombies at a time, but the setting says max 8. 3) Ideally I'd make all my missions/exploring slightly harder (10-20%) Any advice on settings?? Thanks! | Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:21 PM PDT Started playing again after a couple years with the girlfriend. Everythings locked behind schematics now. Leveling is completely revamped. I loved the way it use to be where you leveled specific skills by doing specific things. Chopping trees leveled up chopping tree skill etc. Crafting leveled up crafting. Game seems so mundane and boring now. Before i could gather things, build a forge and so on. Now i need a schematic for the forge. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 31 Mar 2020 09:47 PM PDT Need help? I've generated 3 worlds on alpha 18.4 and have yet to find a prison. It's my favorite poi and I love building bases out of it. However I can find a prison anywhere and I can't find any info on the internet. Did they remove prisons or are they just that rare??? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Complete noob, offline playing help Posted: 31 Mar 2020 02:06 PM PDT My english sucks, I'm sorry. I'm a complete noob and not very game savy. I tried searching this on google and stuff, but found no help. I have the oportunity to obtain a pc that can run the game but the internet availability is temporary. So I would be able to download and install the game but I wouldn't be able to play online, I would have no internet connection where the computer would be located to play. Currently, we are using one that adds bars for food and water, one that adjusts xp for zombies based on level, and a few others that just add some QoL items but don't dramatically change game play. | I'd like to have a few questions regarding the game. [LONG POST] Posted: 31 Mar 2020 04:34 PM PDT I'm pretty new to the game, playing with a friend of mine, I have 20ish hours, and my friend has around 25 so we are pretty clueless. Mostly I just google out something I do not know from the wiki page, but I couldn't find anything deeper information about these ones. So, I'd like to craft a Steel Pickaxe, Steel Fireaxe for example, but all I see at the requirements is "Steel Pickaxe Schematic" and "Steel Tools Schematic (or something like that)", and I just do not know what level and what skill I'll be able to craft one of these... My second question would be: I have recently found two motion sensors while looting a random house down the street, I put them both next to our entrance door, it can be configured somehow, I chose it to trigger to everything (by clicking on the icons and making the yellow/goldish), however when me or my friend running around it just does not work. Have not tried with zombies yet as we haven't had a nighttime since, but we just stopped playing for today so the nearest date I could find it out would be tomorrow, so I thought why not ask this one here as well. Third and last question would be: Is there any 'turret' besides the one that shoots scrap ammo or whatever? We are quite afraid of the hordes, only experienced 14. days so far. | Horde Base defense tips please Posted: 31 Mar 2020 12:03 PM PDT I've been playing for a long time and while I don't die or have many issues with horde night I simply for the life of me am not able to get a base to work how I want. I tried building a fort with an outer wall and an opening to some doors filled with spikes and a cage up top to shoot down. Figured they'd be drawn to the open front door concept and be lured to the doors but instead they came right through two layers of walls completely disregarding the doors! I tried building a concrete base carved into a mountain basically a long straight kill zone with turrets and electric fences and a hatch escape to the top of the mountain.. completely open no doors just a wide open a path. Zombies dug down from the top of the mountain and ignored the wide open path. Most got stuck upstairs digging down on the concrete or stuck swiss cheesing the mountain. Next attempt was based on neebs gaming fort. I built a staircase with supported platform that slowly Uturned into a base with an opening for turrets at the staircase. Based on their playing the zombies went up the stairs and went all over the platform towards the base. My zombies went directly to my reinforced concrete support beams and I ended up having to go to the platform to place turrets there to get an angle on them underneath. All I want is the zombies to funnel into my base and let me be able to shoot them without precarious gymnastics to get angles under my base or something stupid. What am I doing wrong? | Posted: 31 Mar 2020 03:48 PM PDT Friends kept telling me to buy this so we could all play during quarantine, eventually I caved and bought it (we're all on ps4). I'm able to join a world with 2 of them, but me and the third guy can't be in the same world together for some reason. Whenever I join a world with him in it, it kicks him out, and whenever he trys to join back, it gives him a network error. Sometimes when I try to join a world with him, it gives me a network error. We can play with everyone else just fine, but for some reason can't join each other. I joined a public world with 3 other people just fine and had no problems. Should I try to get a refund or is there something we're missing? [link] [comments]  | ||

I also prefer you be over 18, as I'm over 18 and think its odd to have younger friends. Or at least, that much younger. I play on PC only and I will admit, my wifi isn't great but I can connect, just not host. I prefer random gens and even have an amazing seed we can use if you're interested. Thx [link] [comments]  |
