- My base I built on Xbox , I’m not sure how big it is but the red flag counts as 0.1km if that gives any idea ... my first proper survival ... I have died twice and it is day 83

| Issues with skill points when leveling up Posted: 08 May 2020 09:26 PM PDT Recently on our dedicated server for 7 days, every time someone levels we're getting different amount of skill points. At first only 2 people were getting 4-5 skill points per level while the other two was getting 1. Then one of the players only getting 1 skill point got 5 on a level. Any idea what this is? We are looking to buy this game (had it a couple years ago) and saw the shitty situation the console version is in. If we are playing casually for a time consuming game, would the convenience of console be worth it over the updates of the PC version? But I really want to mix things up and make a cool aesthetic bunker base underneath the horde cube. But boy-oh-boy, I have mined under FAR TOOO MANY bases only for them to collapse on top of me. | I am trying to understand Bloodmoon hordes. Posted: 08 May 2020 04:55 AM PDT My wife and i just got this game. We just reached day 7 and from a couple of YouTube videos we watched it seemed like the first horde would be pretty small. We were quite prepared. We had a moat with spikes around our base, 9 junk turrets, and spikes intelligently placed around our base. I had a lv 5 9mm pistol with 800 rounds and an m60 with 300 rounds. She had a pump shutgun and a huntkng rifle. We were prepared for what we were expecting. What actually happened is about 3000 zombies with dogs, large men spewing acid, fat grandmas, and jumping zombies completely overwhelmed our base and tore down most of our walls. They killed us about 10 times and we spent the rest of the night hopelessly running away from a seemingly endless horde (based on our view distance which was set to high, could be many that werent loaded) trying to take stabs at the ones that got close, and the dogs. I looked it up on the wiki and there is no explanation for why the horde would be so intense. The game is super fun but that was completely unmanagable with our resources at that point. Edit: thank you to those of you that gave me meaningful information. Now i feel i understand the game more. To those of you that just questioned everything: im sorry? Idk what to say to you. My group and I had planned on a large road construction project and I went and made about 2000 asphault only to find out when I started placing them down, they had the texture of topsoil but the hardness and audio of asphalt. | Posted: 08 May 2020 11:36 AM PDT I understand that the PC version is better, and the Console version is somewhat fucked. As a Console gamer with a mid-tier Pc. A comparison, I can run the newer rerelease of Skyrim fine along with Fallout NV and Bioshock Infinite. Comparing those to 7DTD. Is the pc version worth getting, is it taxing on the hardware? I'm not sure of my specs. I don't want to buy it and realize I can't run the game or at 2 frames a second. I assume I can edit the setting to better fit like most games. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 08 May 2020 10:54 AM PDT I just set up a server for my group to start playing 7 days again. We've not played since Alpha 16/17 if I remember correctly. We're having trouble with the hit boxes of the zombies and their reach. It seems we can get hit from 10ft (3.05 m) then we have trouble reaching them. We switched to spears to help with the reach, it helped a little but still tons of issues getting smacked from what seems to be so far away. Is there something that can help us out with this? Are we unfamiliar with the update and just need to play more or is the hit box and range currently pretty bad? Also, any mods or config settings to help with this? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 08 May 2020 10:40 AM PDT Hello, i have been playing in navezgane with a friend and my wife and after 25 hours of play in the last 2 weeks over two different games i noticed the only guns we are finding in loot are the hunting rifle, the ak, shotgun and pistol. We havent seen a single revolver or any other weapon for that matter, just alot of the aforementioned weapons. Is this normal? [link] [comments]  | ||
