    Weather?

    Ok, I know I've been posting a lot lately asking questions...but here's one last dilemma I am having. After ransacking diersvill, I get re-equipped, put on proper clothing for the colder biome, and go. Upon entering, I am almost immediately cold then freezing. That's with proper clothing like puffer coat, liner mods, the whole shebang. Is there something I'm missing? And why is the weather in this update so drastic?

    Mouse issues

    I have an issue.

    In 7 days to die, it feels like my cursor doesn't stop when my mouse does. For example, I'd be moving my mouse to the right, but when I stop moving it, the cursor continues for a very minuscule period of time. I have a wired mouse, and it feels like it does the same thing in other games like Overwatch too.

    Two questions.
    Firstly, why does it do this?
    Secondly, how do I stop it from happening?

    Storage chests collapse for no reason, loot all gone

    As the title suggests my storage chests collapsed for reasons i am unsure of and they were all packed to the brim with loot from hours worth of exploring, i wanted to know if there was any way possible to get that loot back or at least figure out what was in those chests so i can cheat it back in. Regarding the chests collapsing they just sort of broke while i was working on a parking garage beneath my fortress, no other blocks (all reinforced concrete) collapsed when the chests broke, all that was left were backpacks with half the loot that despawned by the time i realized what happened. I'm sure that the structure i built could support itself, but nothing but chests broke and i don't know why. Again any information on how to get that loot back would be much appreciated.

    15 FPS no matter the detail

    Hey all! Just bought the game and was wondering if I could get some help on optimizing the game. My girlfriend's runs buttery smooth but when I try to play, no matter what, I'm stuck at 15fps. It's really annoying.

    Girlfriend's rig:

    • i5 6600k
    • 32GB ram
    • GTX 1070FTW

    My rig:

    • Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 Ghz
    • 16GB ram
    • Radeon RX 580

    By all accounts my rig should be able to handle it. I can run MW: Warzone 1080P all high settings no problem, Destiny 2 1080P all high settings no problem(4k 30fps too). But for some reason 7DTD just won't run past 15 fps. It doesn't matter the settings too, low, medium, high, ultra, it's all 15 fps. I see a guy on youtube with the same settings and he's running 1440p ultra settings with no issues.

    Let me know your thoughts, just curious to see why this one game isn't working right.

    Darkness falls mod (newb questions)

    1. OK so I've went down the kwrh of security and survivalist. I found a book for the scientist and learned it but nothing happened and when I try to put points in the tree is says I need to do the quests to gain rank 1. I wasn't given a quest and I have deffo checked my quests. Maybe I'm Missing something?

    2. Retirement City:

    Do you guys think this kind of ruins the fun I mean damn there is a lot of loot in those mini cities and I've already came across 3 of them.

    Lock picking is strange, one lock I pick 1st time the next I spend 15 picks even with the lock picking skills

    4.

    What armor is considered the best, light/heavy What weapons are Considered the best (ammo too)

    5.

    You guys have any useful tips for playing this mod?

    Stop the Console from appearing?

    When the game produces console errors, particularly the null reference one, the console appears, stopping you from doing anything until you close it. It's extraordinary agitating, and is hurting the game more than the error is.

    Is there a way to stop the console from appearing whenever there is an error?

    Alternatively, is there a way to fix the null reference error?

    Advice for running Dedicated Server with 18.4?

    Well, here we are, I hope you're well and healthy.

    I'm ready to host a server on a spare computer I have at home, I've already tested it, it runs fine. I also believe I have enough UP/down bandwidth to host at least 8 players.

    I've hosted public games since the actual acoustic modem era of the 80/90s.

    However, before I start, does anybody have suggestions for an old fart hosting a local 7DtD Ded Server?

    I'm excited and worried! I'm excited because there is great loot there, but i only have one point in lucky looter. I might clear the buildings around it (nitrogen map) and hope to drop another point into lucky looter. Yea, spawning in a mine went off.

    Average cost for a 24/7 server?
