    Is there any guide that will legitimately tell me how to do the bare basics of electricity? I've wanted to try it for a while but every time I do it looks complicated and quite frankly entirely unnecessary. Is there a guide for dipshits like me to figure out how they work? Also, is there a way to make electricity in a way where it doesn't leave a bunch of ugly wires all over the place?

    After 1000+ hours playing, I kind of know what I like and try to set up a new solo game the way I want. Obviously this is all personal preference and everyone probably likes to play in slightly different ways.

    I usually play on Nomad, with 3 day air drops, no loot respawn, 200% player block damage, and the first thing I do is "cheat" (*gasp*) and give myself jeans, a shirt, a hat, running shoes, a low quality knife, and a bicycle. Depending on what kind of game I want, I may give myself an iron pick and axe to speed up the early harvesting. If I'm feeling particularly lazy, I'll throw in 50 feathers. Mostly just stuff to improve the quality of life through the basic early gathering stage.

    I'll also give myself a handful of basic cooking recipes. I think it's kind of silly that my character automatically knows how to make duct tape from bones, water, and cloth scraps, but apparently doesn't know how to bake a potato or boil a cob of corn without taking a perk.

    Do you have any regular tweaks you like to make at the beginning?

    My son wants to 3d print a few wood spikes from 7d2d for my wife for Mother's Day, but I can't find an easy way to extract the model file from the assets bundles. Is there an easy way to do this, or somewhere I can view the ripped models?

    Is there a mod that allows you to level up infection resistance?

    I like melee play but am constantly infected and can't find antibiotics. Or other suggestions besides just not playing melee style. I feel like constant infection/cure should make you more resistant.

    As the title says the one where you had to craft over and over and deal damage with certain weapons were better for me and my friends. This system isn't that bad either i mean i can still enjoy the game. But i really would like a world where we got the best of 2 worlds. Skills that are actively effective like allowing you to build certain items by spending perk points and passive skills which you level up by doing certain actions over and over again to gain some damage/resistance with certain items or against certain enemies.

    A question about Dedicated Servers on PC

    Disable Alpha Watermark?

    Hey guys, I am new to the game and want to play on my OLED. I figured out how to hide the UI with F7 but can't figure out how to hide/disable the alpha watermark in the corner. Any ideas/suggestions?

    Modding the game
