    A19 Tip: Fire Barrels Make Great Markers

    I am a bit of a wildcat miner and tend to just dig out pits everywhere along typical travel paths. The new fire barrels produce orange smoke that is visible in the daytime making them great caution markers. This has helped me avoid dumping vehicles into old pits and finding these resource veins again when I need them later.

    I'll use my primitive weapons as long as I need to. I'll cheese a POI for a horde base if I must. I'll eat old sham sandwiches to survive. I'll chug water and deal with dysentery until my jeans don't need brown dye.

    But trying to get move around the map, even on a bicycle, especially once you have a couple of vendors open up, kills me.

    I will actively search out every Pass N Gas and Crack a Book to look for plans. I will do whatever quest Rekt wants me to do so I can buy the parts off him.

    Sitting here waiting for the day 10 sun to rise with my minibike ready to go feels *so* good.

    I did a quest and had the option to receive x20 Molotovs as a reward. Knowing my inventory is full, I was hoping to receive it on the table and sell an item before it disappeared. Needless to say I guess the item glitched and the damn thing fell and caught fire. Most ironic death ever.

    The loot is bad, but the blunderbuss is actually good! Some tips for its users

    The stone axes in tool stores suck, but there is actually a very good early game item: the blunderbuss!

    Here are my tips for using the blunderbuss:

    1. Have 2 of them on your belt. Sometimes you need a quick second shot.
    2. Upgrade your chest armor with the bandoleer mod. +30% to reload speed.

    [Alpha 19] New animal spawn rates?

    My girlfriend and I have been playing Alpha 19 and were wondering if they changed the spawn rates for animals? We are on day 7 and have only seen 2 boars and 4 deer. Is this typical for 19 or PC in general?

    Fuck stamina... i can't mine at all because of how lacking my stamina is, I hope fun pimps change this in 19.1 because my stone axe is better then my iron tools, it wasn't like this in alpha 18 so I don't know what happened. Although I am still enjoying this alpha

    (Alpha 19) Curious about loot tables

    Hi.

    My wife and I have been really enjoying A19. However, we were wondering if some of the changes were intentional or bugged.

    FOOD: This has become much more rare. This is fun and makes the survival aspect of the game more interesting. In A18 we had more food then we could ever use. However in A19 we are pretty desperate for food all the time, is this intentional? Shamway crates almost always contain water or empty bottles but rarely anything else.

    PARTS: I have a bitch here. I've specc'ed into shotguns but I'm totally unable to make better shotguns due to the total LACK of parts available. Finding basic shotguns to breakdown for parts are rare. Is this intentional? Rifle parts, same thing.

    We are getting a HUGE amount of high level stone/scrap/padded equipment, but are rarely seeing higher level stuff while looting. Is this intentional?

    We are having a great time but I'm just wondering if this stuff is on purpose.

    We are currently at game stage 43.

    How do you feel about the new Console petition?

    Theres been a new petition made by Jade PG a survival game news channel over 100k Subscribers himself as a Xbox Consumer playing your game doesn't like the way Console is going. So he made a petition he isn't a dead brain person demanding refunds there is two choices to go for Console. He doesn't want updates being pumped every week all he wants is that The Fun Pimps have a future plan for Console and act on it.

    Did something break with the K key choice for prefab?

    After the last Alpha 19 update I have not been able to use the K key to bring up the Prefab menu. Playing on my own server. It works in the poi editor fine.
