How to half your crafting speed for everything Posted: 19 Jul 2020 09:02 PM PDT I did not discover this and I'm sure some people have known this for years. But anyway holding an anvil in your hands will cut your crafting speed by 50% or more. Combining it with nerdy glasses will make your speed ridiculously quick. HELP! Posted: 19 Jul 2020 06:18 PM PDT We have a file that was on the previous a19 version, but after this update, one of our players died upon spawning and we can't fix it. Here is what we have done: Restart game, steam, PC Delete all local data and saves revert to previous version, re install b169 uninstall and re install entire game log into another computer with effected account I am beginning to think the server might be the problem (I am the host). Is there a way to find and clear all data pertaining to the one player that has a problem? Any other ideas? Upon looking it up on YouTube, I saw that the PC version was waaaay ahead and also found out about the whole update thing with consoles yada yada. So of course I purchased the PC version. I was just wondering if you guys have any tips for the newly (for me at least lol) added content. Any habits I should break from older gameplay? Any need to know things? Did I make a bad decision here? Posted: 19 Jul 2020 04:55 PM PDT I was at a traders and seen I couldn't rent a vending machine. I've got a decent amount of money so I decided to buy one. My idea of how they worked was that you'd buy it and be able to place it in your house to have a source of food. Anyway it didn't give me one so I bought it again assuming I miss clicked or something but I still didn't get one. What have I done wrong here. Screamer loops still exists, and it terrified me. Posted: 19 Jul 2020 01:57 AM PDT I thought screamer loops or screamer spawning more screamers was the most rarest of chances especially in A19 latest build... Boy was I ever god damn wrong. I was facing one screamer, then the horde arrived so I said no biggie. Then suddenly 2 screamers appeared out of nowhere and spawned a hella ton of hordes with an added 2 more screamers. Repeat the loop, my game lagged and I had to lower my graphics to the lowest settings. Immediately turned off my forges and had to go ground melee + rifle headshot them all. I was also running at 15 to 18fps even on the lowest setting... Screen goes black while playing Posted: 19 Jul 2020 09:26 PM PDT Hi, not a tech person so Im sorry if my explanation is super vague. Lately my laptop screen goes black when I'm playing. To my knowledge, it's black in the sense that there's still backlight and game sounds. Steam voice call also remains running. However, nothing is showing on my screen. Attempts to Alt +Tab out don't bring back the screen so I'm guessing the problem is my laptop, but I would like to know if there is a connection between running the game and the screen. Coolest thing I have experienced yet in this game Posted: 19 Jul 2020 07:30 AM PDT So, I got the game back in 2014. I've played it over the years in and out because it is still alpha I haven't dedicated myself to it. I recently picked it back up. I did a random gen world. Cruising through I found a house to loot. Was a nice big 2 story house. I looted everything on the first floor then made my way up stairs. Big library! Found good books for skills. I noticed a secret entry behind one of shelves. Strange room that had a metal door. I look inside and it's a hidden elevator shaft! I turn on my night vision goggles and jump in. It was a huge underground facility with tons of zombies and guns at the end. It was the most surprising thing I ever found. Had no idea it was in this good now. Best skill specializations for each player in a 2 man playthrough? Posted: 19 Jul 2020 09:44 AM PDT I play a fair bit of coop with my buddy and I often find myself wondering how we could make our skill usage most efficient in regards to skills like grease monkey, engineering, master chef, physician, etc. I figure if we each specialize in our own things we can advance much more quickly. We already do our own specializations to an extent but we definitely haven't polished our process yet. Maybe one person goes all in on intellect and the other one picks up the rest of the slack?
