Bug/weird behavior between the Solar Bank and Motion Sensor (A18.4) ? Posted: 22 Jul 2020 09:45 PM PDT I've only just progressed far enough into the game to start getting into electricity, which has been great for the most part but I've run into a couple of issues. In trying to understand one of them I've identified what seems to me as a bug, or at least behavior that I can't understand. So in the test environment to recreate this issue I have the following setup: Solar Bank (20w) --> Battery Bank (50w) --> Motion Sensor --> 3x Industrial Lights. During day time the Solar Bank is what's powering the grid, so I'm generating 20w and consuming 20w between the Sensor and the 3 lights. With the sensor power duration set to Trigger this behaves exactly as I would expect. When I enter the cameras vision my three lights turn on, when I leave its vision they turn off. The weird behavior arises when I connect another light to the grid, for which there is not sufficient capacity on the grid. When I walk into vision of the sensor the first 3 lights turn on and the final light does not, as expected. However when I leave the sensors vision the three lights remain on indefinitely. In other words, the when the power grid is being overdrawn the trigger of the motion sensor does not seem to end. The lights just remain on indefinitely until the power draw drops to or within capacity (such as by disconnecting the fourth light), at which point the sensor and lights behave as per normal again. What doesn't make sense to me is that this is not the case when the power source for the grid switches over the the battery bank. Say if we add a bunch of industrial lights and switch over to night time so that our grid is as follows: Solar Bank (20w) --> Battery Bank (50w) --> Motion Sensor --> 9x Industrial Lights. We have 50w of grid capacity from the battery bank, and our draw is 50w from the sensor and 9 lights. If I repeat the same steps as in the last case, adding an additional light, entering the sensor area and leaving, behavior is exactly as you would expect with the sensor properly terminate its trigger when I exit the cone. Is this something that anyone else has encountered? Is it a known issue or is there something I am missing? Would appreciate any input :) [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||

Posted: 22 Jul 2020 04:44 PM PDT I just got into 7 d2d at like the end of A18 and I learned about the power of vault hatches, I was running a blood moon on my stream and someone called my method of survivng "cheese exploit". My horde set up was pretty basic, hallway to funnel the zombies, some blade traps and fences and then a pair of vault hatches to split myself from the zombies. I knew they were a strong block to use so I bumped up my difficulty to warrior and put zombies on 32 for horde night. [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||

I think the demolisher should still spawn in late game blood moons (I think day 147 blood moon) but I would like him to spawn in POI's a bit earlier (Day 75-100). Mainly just military POI's and ones that have a military crates at the end of them like the factories, hospital, tower, etc. Having him strictly in blood moon does not due him justice for the devs who made him. They put a lot of work into him and you barely get to see him. He is not an OP zombie and should be in all aspects of the game. Anyone else feel this way too? [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||

Are these the only possibilities for a19, or did we just have bad luck with world generation? Also, I'm not sure if they would be t5 locations, but I have searched the entire map and can't find many of the large poi's I remember i.e. the missile silos and the big pharmaceutical HQ. I've started bringing mega crush for the movespeed boost in case I have to dip. haven't had to use it yet, but I'm curious if anyone else has tried this. [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||
What happen to supercorn in A19? Posted: 22 Jul 2020 05:48 AM PDT I found some supercorn in GraceLand and i've been harvesting for days, to have a large plot of supercorn, only to realize that it as become useless. It give you 3 food an 1 health if I recall correctly. In A18 it was something like 20 food and 20 health. At first I thought you could make some super corn bread or super vegetables stew. But no luck there. Anybody have an idea what to do with supercorn? [link] [comments] |
