    Do the lucky looters affect the type of loot you get?

    In other words, if i get lucky looter vol 4 and "find more lead in loot" does that mean i find more lead at the expense of finding something else, or is it more lead in addition to regular loot. Anyone know?

    Bad FPS with GTX-1060-6GB?

    Today my brother receive his XFX RX 570 8Gb model XXX edition, he has VGA 1080p monitor and connect it with a conversor (HDMI to VGA) the PC lost image at few minutes on, the fans were not working.

    So I install the card in my PC, I downloaded the drivers from Control Panel> Device manager (Not AMD ones). the very basic drivers and start 7DTD.

    Imagine my surprise when I had constant 60 fps even driving the motorcycle; I have between 35 and 43 FPS when driving with my card. And that was with basic windows drivers from windows update!!!

    Well I tested the Card it works just perfect, so I installed in my brother PC, remove any AMD And Catalyst drivers and let windows update driver on its own, then I open 7DTD and BAM! there was Constant 60 FPS in medium quality (I'm playing in low with the MSI GTX-1060 6GB OC).

    What was his problem? the VGA conversor stop working after few minutes, when conected via HDMI to my monitor works like a charm.

    But now I have a problem to figure it out, why the hell the radeon 570 works so good and my GTX-1060 so bad?

    When you think about it I changed nothing else than the Vcard with basic drivers and was having constant 60 FPS with the radeon when I can't even dream with those FPS with the Nvidia + the latest drivers.

    My setup:

    Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3400Mhz

    2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz

    Asrock x470 Fatal1ty

    SSD m.2 120Gb Gen3x2 (1800MB/s)

    MSI GTX-1060 6GB OC < (Only this Item was changed, not even uninstalled Nvidia drivers)

    PSU: Cooler Master 700w

    If you guys have any idea why this happens I'm all ears.

    OK, so touch wood... my FPS is consistently about 60 now.

    With A18 I had around 30-40 FPS. I'm not a hard-core gamer and was willing to live with that.

    Then A19 dropped and I got a nice little boost, it was closer to the 40-45 FPS mark.

    Then after I think the second update it suddenly became dismally bad. I saw lots of reports on bad FPS so I just left it at that and hoped that whatever TFP "fixed" would get solved before A19 stable came out.

    Today I decided to actually read some of the FPS threads and I saw some suggestions to just drop terrain quality to low. So I decided I'd give that a bash. But one of the post on the forums had specs fairly similar to mine, and I decided to go over all the settings and compare them.

    The very first item to check was vsync off. I always have vsync off but being meticulous I decided to check it, and what have you, my VSync had somehow gotten turned on.

    I don't know why it took me so long to check this, but since that is often an issue for me, I stopped and went with the following: 1. Select the "High quality" profile. 2. Set Terrain to "Low" 3. VSync off as it should be. 4. Motion blur OFF 5. DoF OFF

    And for the first time ever I get FPS over 50 with 60-ish being consistent now and sometimes momentarily as high as 80!

    I'm quite happy with this result so decided to share!

    So I have been playing this game so long that I try very hard to not exploit systems in the game.. one of those being the loot respawn when you activate a quest. If I have a quest in a POI that I have not yet looted I will activate the quest then do my looting once I clear the POI. Last night however I was in a hurry to clear a fresh POI and realized after working through the house and collecting all the door knobs that I forgot to activate the quest. So I ran back out after dismantling almost all of the doors and activated the quest. Then I went back in again and worked my way through again. As I got to the top floor of the house and dismantled all of the doors again the power went out in my area. It was only a quick outage but when I finally got back up to play again the quest had reset... and I had to do it all over a 3rd time. I finished this house finally with something like 55 doorknobs. Craziness :)

    Server Still Initializing

    I'm trying to connect to my friend's game via Hamachi (we're also game sharing)

    Whenever I try to join, the server is recognized, and after I put in the PW, it says server is initializing. It's been doing this for a while now.

    Game stage Being Linked To Loot

    Really hope this change doesn't stay in the game as I find myself simply not looting early game because I'm not high enough level for it, I feel like it needs to be at the very least a little bit more common to find higher tier stuff with a bit of luck. Also, (besides the game stage problem) reinforced chests and weapons bags are extremely overpowered compared to gun safes or munitions boxes. I feel it would be great to just reduce their loot chances or at least make them less common.

    Okay so, I went into creativemenu and thought I would try out some random stuff. I placed the chimneyPOI with the smoke and stuff on the bottom of the pool to see what it'd look like, eventually it became too much and I tried to break it or delete it. I tried using the dev wrench or the dev submachine gun to no avail. It just won't simply break at all no matter what angle or things I try to do. Oh I can't break the floor either because it's the "bedrock" (not sure what u guys call that here) like way at the bottom underground.

    So.. is there a way to break this thing? I tried using selection thing but wouldnt work, possibly because its in survival game mode?
