| OZombie map files and preview for download as promised! (a19) Posted: 10 Apr 2021 04:47 PM PDT OK as promised here is the zip file containing the OZombie map for you to try out! Helpful feedback is welcome. :) For installation unpack it and move the folder to c:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\GeneratedWorlds\ The preview I have provided here doesn't not show the biomes but trust me, when you select the map to play the biomes will be there! (It's a Nitrogen thing, doesn't load the biomes.png for the preview generation but loads it when you start a game). This has been generated in Nitrogen using my custom height, mask and biomes map in 8k size. I have fine tuned the maps city and major town spawn locations to match Australia and the full biomes also match the country. This is a vanilla map so it can be played with any mods. I haven't signed the map in the terrain or anything stupid like that so please, if you share it around or modify it, please give credit to me, (Roachy is my steam name), for it. :) Have fun raiding Australia! I might try making a NewZland map next! Living the dream. I built it in survival and the turrets are barely firing (maybe for 1 in 10 zombies at best). I'm well within range - the turrets are scanning but zombies walk right past. | Would Anyone Like To Make A New World With Me? Posted: 10 Apr 2021 06:47 PM PDT Hey guys and gals, I wanted to start a new survival world, not sure what I'm gonna do in the settings yet but I'll list some of the important ones below. I'm usually on 24/7 since I don't have much going on right now until the fall when COVID hopefully passes, so yeah. All I ask is your between my age range? Nothing personal against anyone who isn't but I'm just more comfortable around folks around my age. I'd prefer between 18-22 so yeah. Also have a mic please. I don't like playing with new players or experienced players, but if you do contact me just let me know what your feeling and where your at so I could adjust the world accordingly. One other thing, this is definitely more of a experienced player thing, but I like to try and do hardcore and not die in my words (occasionally I give a 7 days repentance since the first week is usually the toughest part since beginning game loot) I know it's tougher when everyone is on a single internet connection since I'm not hosting a sever or anything like that, so we could see and go from there but it does make it more fun when you only have one life in a zombie apocalypse, still, usually it's up to the other person(s) and how experienced they are. And for anyone wondering I have 400 hours on PC while around that much on console as well. I'm fairly experienced but still learning new things with every update. Heck I just learned you could put a fully automatic trigger on a desert eagle today lol. Anyways, take a loo below at my preferred settings and final touches. • Difficulty Setting: Nomad - Warrior usually • Blood Moon Frequency: 5 - 7 days • Zombie Day Speed: Walk • Zombie Night Speed: Jog (I'm more into walker zombies with occasional feral runners, however, if you prefer runners I wouldn't mind) • Zombie Blood Moon - Sprint • XP Multiplayer- 200% (sorry leveling is too slow for me) • Player Block Damage 150% (slightly quicker breaking / miner and I do prefer it) •Loot Abundance 150% (slightly more loot) • Loot Respawn Time - Disabled • Blood Moon Count - VERY debatable subject, internet isn't the strongest occasionally and our hardware may clash, I like to do 12 (per person) unless I'm solo I double it, so we could see how each other feel. • Air Drops - Disabled That's basically everything that's of importance, I don't mind playing with more then 2 players but prefer to cap it at 4 of us including me. | Just came back - where's the apartment block?! Posted: 10 Apr 2021 10:10 AM PDT Hello everyone, I've just started playing this game again after maybe a 2 year break from Alpha 17. I'm playing with a friend and I was excited to go back through the gigantic apartment block POI where you entered from the parking garage below ground, there was a distinctive broken down bus at the entrance and always dogs in the garage. Has this POI been removed? I've started a new game and I haven't seen it once despite exploring an entire random gen world. I can't find it on the wiki, and I couldn't find any patch notes about it either (but that doesn't mean it's not there of course). With the removal of the big apartment block, the only T5 clear available on a random gen world is the large factory. That's an okay POI but really not great. The Apartment block had a much better design so I would be really disappointed if the game had regressed in that sense. Thanks for your help. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Can we fix the sensitivity slider in game? Posted: 10 Apr 2021 09:14 AM PDT the sens slider in game doesn't go low enough for my sensitivity, and is barely enough room for my sensitivity when lowering my dpi, even then its not quite perfect but i can deal with reducing my dpi by 1/4 to get my sens right, but i still really shouldn't have to, going from 1600dpi, to 400 shouldn't be necessary, my cm/360 isn't even very low at 35cm, thats fairly fast in the grand scheme of fps games and the fact that the slider doesn't even let me go as low as 1.0 in csgo is crazy, it used to be tolerable because you could manually change the sensitivity with a command by pressing f1, but that no longer works in the latest version, even for people using 1200, 800, or 400, using anything above 0.30 would be bordering on unusable, whats the logic in it having so much room up if you can't get low enough for average sensitivities like mine? maybe im just too picky, but i can really notice the difference between using the latest 19.4, and when the console could change the sensitivity below in game options like in 19.2, anyone else have any other ideas for me to try to get my sens right? have any of you guys experienced this issue too? edit: maybe saying fix the sens slider isn't the right word to use, since it does work its just not tweaked right to allow people like me to get the correct sensitivity. But FPS is around 75-100 which in most games would feel quite fluid. But it feels choppy AF in this game? PC deets: i9 9900k RTX 3070 32GB RAM (3200mhz) I've noticed the game only uses around 40% of my CPU and about 50% of my GPUs capability.. Is there a fix I can do to get the game running smooth?
