Do you ever get randos joining just to mess with your game? Posted: 21 May 2021 01:09 PM PDT I've been playing for a while and I'm pretty much to the boring part where it's not really too challenging to do anything. I'm at day 127 When I started, I just used the default setting, so I've occasionally had people join for a bit, but none really stick around all that much. I even put a cache outside of Jenn's place with some free starter stuff. I had two random people join together today. They wanted to join my party, so I went ahead and let them. I jumped in the copter and started heading across the map. They met up with me and wanted to know where my base was. I told them it had been destroyed, but I was going to build a new base at the hospital. I flew to the helipad and they started helping to clean up the area. Then one went back up to the roof, stole the copter and logged out. Right after the second one logged out. No biggie, I've got plenty of parts to make another one. Why is painting in 19.4 so difficult? Posted: 21 May 2021 03:47 PM PDT I'm playing on PC and I just got a paintbrush. I have a ton of paint and I know how to choose textures, but when I try to paint, it's a whole mess. Painting a box paints all the walls behind it. Painting the bottom of a wall paints the entire floor. I painted my wall purple and it painted the floor almost 10 blocks away purple, too. It's actually effing up my house.. Tips and tricks Posted: 20 May 2021 10:54 PM PDT In case anyone is new to the game or didn't know or realize it could be done, if you start a quest to clean out the zombies, then first make sure to loot everything in the building first. Then when you go to start the quest, it will respawn everything in that building(even the zombies you just killed) therefore you now get double the loot and zombie xp. I have a problem with this game and its been like it for years Posted: 21 May 2021 05:16 PM PDT Me and my friend played this game a few years ago and it was working fine, we where having fun and starting to actually get somewhere in the game. All of a sudden i realised i couldnt loot or open any doors, my friend mentioned that i wasnt moving and that my character was frozon in place. We tried different worlds (he was always unable to join my game he would always disconnect straight away) we had little luck in playing as i would join him be able to move and play shortly then again i would be unable to open doors or loot stuff and was again frozen in place from my freinds perspective. Recently we both got a series x and decided to give it another go thinking what ever the problem was had been solved due to update or the fact we had better equipment. Dedicated Server Inactivity Timer to Kick People? Posted: 21 May 2021 11:32 AM PDT I'm a relatively new dedicated server owner (through pingperfect) and I'm trying to find a setting or mod that would kick people for inactivity after a long enough period, like 30 minutes. People accidentally go AFK for days and wastes most of the week before horde night, and an inactivity timer would solve that. I also have a stained glass ceiling on a small part, but the rain comes through the whole building.
