| Help with custom POI on nitrogen Posted: 02 May 2021 08:22 PM PDT So I got nitrogen downloaded and the eden mall and some of NAGG POIs on the combo pack on nexus. Followed NAGG alpha 18 vid and it never loaded the custom prefabs, tried mega cities and a bigger map size anddd nothing. Followed the nitrogen posted English vid, done everything like they did and nothing even on mega and large map. I'm lost and frustrated because I've tried once before but got nowhere. No custom POIs are coming up and I don't even see errors on the F1 page. Any ideas before I rage quit again? [link] [comments]  | ||
| exclusive fullscreen option not working for me Posted: 02 May 2021 07:06 PM PDT I turned it on using both the launcher and trying steam startup parameters but its still acting like borderless windows. i prefer exclusive fullscreen because my gpu acts funky with borderless window and gives me a stuttery experience. how do i fix this? | Darkness Falls - Broken Leg/Where's the corn?! Posted: 02 May 2021 06:59 AM PDT Hi all, My husband broke his leg in our DF game and our gameplay has ground to a halt because of it. I need 8 cornmeal for a cast and I have found literally 3 corn and 1 corn seed this whole playthrough. The corn farm doesn't seem to exist on the large map (#2) so I'm growing corn but it's taking forever. It says 30hrs for the broken leg on the character screen, but 60hrs on the HUD so I assume it's 60. Is that 60 actual RL hours?? It hasn't gone down so far and it's been a few days in game. Is there anything else I can do other than literally watch corn grow? I feel like he should just die to get rid of it, but with DF wellness goes down so his max health would be permanently lowered. Needless to say we are new to DF so any tips (other than "try not to break your leg") would be appreciated. Update: I am now the proud owner of 12 plaster casts. | Posted: 02 May 2021 03:14 PM PDT Ever since the new update my game started crashing to desktop at random times. No errors just the game freezes for a second and I'm at desktop. Seems to happen more often the later I am in the game. Thought it was because I was playing nitrogen maps, but got to day 7 on Navezgane and it crashed. Anyone know how to fix it? Tried playing without mods and verifying integrity of local files, nothing seems to help, tuned down graphics settings and still no difference. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 02 May 2021 04:29 AM PDT As the title suggests, i started playing the game two days ago and today i continued my game and 5 minutes into it my pc crashed. Now i can't continue my savegame. In the Appdata folder the savegame is still there. When i try to start a new game it tells me a savegame with this name already exists... Can somebody help me? [link] [comments]  | ||

| How to reduce amount of freezes in A19.4 Posted: 02 May 2021 12:27 PM PDT So, I have been lately playing A19.4 after 3 months of break and my game started to freeze a lot while travelling on minibike, and I mean a lot, constant freezes every 10 seconds. I found this "fix" randomly while playing with console. This wont eliminate all the freezes, but it will greatly reduce them, after applying this fix and riding around on minibike, I would freeze around every 2 minutes. Write this into the console to reduce the freezes: mem gc enable 1 Now, atm I dont know if you have to enter this command at every launch, but you can check if garbage collection is active by entering mem gc into the console.
