- Not really good at commentating or this game. So I have settings on low. Any tips to get better? Don't even need to watch the video to answer, just general helpful tips are good!!

| Where should I build based on preference? (Navesgane) Posted: 10 Jun 2021 10:14 PM PDT I play single player and don't want a huge building to have to walk around and kill walkers and repair by myself every time I'm home. I haven't played in 4 years but I'm doing pretty good on my world. I don't like building my own house to live and craft in because I'm short on time and like the idea of surviving more than building. I've always lived in the snow biome or the forest, and want a change. What good houses are there in the desert or other biomes? [link] [comments]  | ||

But I can't seem to stay focused for more than 40-50 (IG)days before I start a new game. I even went so far as to create a level with no buildings as a challenge (really fun by the way). | Screen Randomly changes Resolution while plaging Posted: 10 Jun 2021 11:49 AM PDT While playing the game, sometimes randomly, it will change the resolution to 1920x1280, when I have it at the lowest so I can have a smooth frame rate. I'm on Windows 10, am curious if anyone else has this issue, or if it's just me. I thought it was some weird hot key, but I'm curious if there are any other answers [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 10 Jun 2021 08:00 AM PDT Hi i've read some of the other posts but didn't see them saying what kind of mod experience I'm looking for. I'm basically not wanting to spend hundreds of hours playing (don't have the time) and don't want to spend it grinding mindlessly (and time consumingly). I basically just want the best enhanced version of the base game, some added difficulty where it matters but not where I'm having to prepare and be constantly worried about infection/poision/whatever. Whats a good well-rounded mod that's not like Stalker Misery, I'm looking more for a nice balance/difficulty but not just time consuming difficulty. Thanks edit: i saw how this sounds, i am still looking for difficulty, but just not pointless difficulty, that's why i mentioned stalker Misery as an example if that makes sense. I saw someone in another post say Darkness Falls with pumpjacks for easy passive resource generation and more loot from zombies. would that make it less grindy/pointlessly difficult? anyway thanks for your recommendation [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 10 Jun 2021 11:15 AM PDT While playing with friends last night I was suddenly unable to loot items. I could still open doors and get on and off the motorcycle and even pick up dropped items but pressing E did nothing over cabinets, backpacks, boxes, etc. Then when I went to talk with the trader I discovered that I could not view their inventory and I would lock on to their face. I could still move and even leave the post but my view was locked onto their face. Forcing me to quit. Multiple quits, shutdowns, and restarts including by the host failed to fix the issue. Opening my own separate game everything worked fine. There have been no mods, no world changes, no latency, and no changes to key bindings. By me, the host, or either of the two other players. I did try different key bindings for loot after the problem arose but since it didn't fix the issue I went back to default. My E key works fine as well. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? We have put 43 hours into this game and I'd hate to have to make the choice of dropping out of playing with my friends or force them to start over. [link] [comments]  | ||
