    What does it take to get a small engine to appear?

    I know that small engines can only be obtained by dismantling a sedan with a wrench. And that they sometimes appear in Working Stiff crates.

    But I've dismantled like 20 sedans by now (with a level 4 wrench) and looted like 50 POIs with crates and I still haven't found a small engine. Does something else special have to happen that the wiki doesn't mention?

    I'm level 27 on day 31, playing on PC, if that means anything.

    Good base location?(Alpha 16)

    Looking to build a good base, can't think of a good location, I thought about trying the military camps but the landmines seem like a pretty big con. Any suggestions? Don't really want a base in the ice biome or scorched biome but I'm open to suggestions.

    Game crash after I leave world?

    Each time I am finished and get off the game, I leave the world and I get an instant crash. My save is fine, files are fine and this is the only game that does it. Any help?

    Robotic Sledge question

    So I built a small horde base that funnels the zombies up a set of stairs and across a bridge, only to be knocked back to the ground again by a robotic sledge. I saw a very similar design on yt, however, the design I saw utilized 2 robotic sledges while I only use 1. 1 isn't fast enough to keep all the zombies pushed off the bridge, so I thought I'd add a second sledge as well.

    When I place down a second robotic sledge, whichever one is closer to me is active, and the other just points straight down and doesn't do anything. How can I get both to be active at the same time?

    I'm fairly certain it's possible because I've seen it working on yt. I just can't figure out how to make it work.

    Only game that locks up my pc

    I love this game so much but it locks up my computer so badly and no other game does. Maybe once in a while with Smite but 7dtd does it up to a dozen times in a day with me needing to constantly keep saves of the game on hand to keep corruption from driving me insane. Anyone know why this game in particular would drive my computer crazy when others don't?

    i need help pls

    hey I was wondering if anyone here can help me fix this problem, my friends and I have been playing on a random gen world, and it's day 7 but it won't let us join anymore. in the loading screen it's stuck on loading character we've tried restarting our pcs, deleting and downloading the game, and having him make a new world we have no idea what to do is this a common problem?

    Darkness Falls RWG Seed?

    I heard that if you do RWG for darkness falls mod, its possible it might not spawn the end-game POI's? Is this true? the pregen maps are so bland and dont seem to have many of the new buildings that are in random seed. If so, does anyone happen to know a seed/place where I can possibly find seeds that have them?

    You remember, right? When you could just get fresh water in a can without even boiling it? I don't remember whether or not that was a glitch or not, but still I remember being able to walk to some water, get a can, and get fresh drinking water immediately.

    Does the bedroll deadzone 30 setting REALLY stop enemies from spawning in 30 blocks instead of 15?

    On my world configuration I have the option to set "Bedroll deadzone" at either none, 5, 15 or 30. Now, no matter what setting I pick the transparent white outline square that you can see before placing the bedroll is always appearing at 15 blocks away and not 30. Is this just an inconsistent graphic not accounted for when updating the setting from 15 to 30? Or does the setting do something entire different that I'm not aware of? Or could it just be bugged?

    Edit: This is relevant since I'm trying to take over a large POI. Thanks

    I want to make a yt series.

    So, I've been playing 7dtd since late 2013 and I want to start making a 7dtd yt series on pc, but I was wondering a couple things. First off, what settings would be the most fun to play on, while also being entertaining for any viewers. Second off, should I invite anyone to come play as well of using a mic? Third off, should I use a random gen or a Navgen game? Lastly, is there anything I should know in general? I already have video editing software, and I have a mic. I only ask about things like the settings is because I don't know what would be the most entertaining to watch, but still being fun for me.

    Noob asking for some help.

    I bought the game today and have been playing all day... I'm on day 7 which I assumed is when the challenge would start so I've been building up for this. Day 7 has come and nothing different has happened except for a little bit of red in the sky? When do the zombie hordes and defense aspect of the game come into play?
