    Looking for friends to play with

    I'm returning to the game after around 2 years away. The friends I used to play with have more or less poofed from my life(only knew these 2 people, the ones who got me playing, in the game). I'm looking for new friends to play with. I'm the first to admit I'm not very good, both because of my time away and because RL medical issues make gaming a bit difficult, but I do my best and try to improve. I'm friendly and love gaming with folks and am totally open to friendships that form aside from just in game play. Let me know if you'd be interested in playing.

    Console command drop window shows up when i softly breath on the keyboard or happen to be in the same hemisphere of the computer in which the game is running. If this group doesnt allow bug posts than can someone atleast point me in the direction where I can get feedback. Group of friends want to play and ill be breaking a lot of hearts if i dont get this running. My family is on the line, and i need redemption.

    Engine recipe with new update?

    As the title says. I can't find anywhere online that says since the new updates we can find engine recipe now.. but my friend just looted one while exploring.

    Have been back playing for a few weeks now and have had hard luck finding engines and now this. Which makes me think this is why I haven't been able to find any.

    Can someone possibly help me fix this?

    Some background: I'm not as tech savvy as some of my friends, but I kind of know how to mod the game. My problems that are arising are in the 2 screenshots I'll post with this. Every time I try to open the supply crate, I get this message:

    UnloadAsset can only be used on assets;

    NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    Like I said, I'm not that great with computers, so this is like reading spanish when english is my only language.

    The second issue is just an error message that pops up whenever I load into a world, whether it be old or new. its hard to read with the background of the game in the ss, so I put the error message here

    :Date+time: 1508.709 ERR XML loader. Loading and parsing 'loot.xml' failed

    Exception: Duplicate entry with id 525

    I looked up possible solutions, like verifying the integrity of the files, but that didn't fix either problem.

    If anyone can help me with this, it would be much appreciated, and if you need a modlist, I'll make one after I post this, so it can be ready to send if/when someone needs it to see if the files or mods are the issue.

    The supply crate isn't set to an instance of an object, even though it's vanilla

    This only pops up once, but it pops up every time I load up either an old save, or a brand new world.

    Schematic creating

    Hello people, I'm very new to this forum so forgive me if I post in the wrong section or make some other mistakes. :) I'm trying to find some info about darkness falls and I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for anywhere else so thought I would sign up here and see if you all might be able to help me. :) I'm trying to figure out how to make schematics or books, I mean I know I need ink, stacks of notes, writing bench etc but after that how do I go about making the kind of schematic that I want? Do I get to choose which kind of book/schematic I want to make or do I have to find something specific? I hope this explains easily what I'm needing, if not let me know and I'll try to be more descriptive. :) TIA for any help you all can offer.

    So I want to make my game really hard with mods...

    I usually play these settings:
    - Survivalist
    - Sprint during the day, nightmare speed at night and blood moons
    - Blood Moon every 4 days with a 2 day interval
    - No Airdrops
    - No loot respawn
    - 64 Count blood moon

    However, the game is still too easy. I don't want to go to insane difficulty because an increase in damage and health isn't really a good measure of difficulty. Can someone help list me a bunch of mods to make the game significantly harder? So far I've been using "More Zombies per Biome" along with nitrogen terrain generator to make worlds with more wasteland and burned biomes. Thx ahead of time!!

    New to modding and pc. How to play mods with a friend?

    As the title states, I'm new to pc and have no idea how to do anything on here lol. After watching a few YT videos, I downloaded the 7d2d mod launcher or whatever that program is called and downloaded sorcery. I was able to play it solo, everything seem to work fine but I couldn't invite my friend as I normally would through steam. I read on here about dedicated servers but I have no clue how to do that or access that lol can anybody help me out? My friend also downloaded the same stuff I have downloaded so far.

    Does anybody have some info about the (PC) Darkness Falls trader guards?

    In my playthroughs I've noticed that the guard quality of different traders varies extremely.

    I usually prefer staying at Joel's trade post because all the guards in my experience, shoot zombies. Meanwhile at trader Jen or Bob they're pm useless. I can let a zombie chase me around and maybe if i'm lucky one guard will fire.

    Is it something to do with the range and height that the guards are standing on? I did a quick experiment once at a trader Bob's, whose trade post had wedged out a piece of a hill, having a zombie chase me up the incline. Half way up, the guards started shooting it.
