- Nice little base in SP random map. Quick/easy way to keep my bike out of reach rather than wires/cameras/doors etc. Seems ok so far, any ideas for improved safety?

- Remember us? Here's an update of our base! We've removed the mausoleums to add space for more gardens, added a roof deck, a garage, a bedroom and created a security spotlight system around the outer wall

| Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:18 PM PDT I have started construction on a home base that will be connected to my horde base, I have it on a elevated platform it consists of a 15x15 square every 3 blocks is a support beam and in the center of every 5x5 is a additional support beam, besides one area I left open for shooting zeds, making a total of 27 support beams, the bottom two blocks of the supports are upgraded to cobblestone with plates around them also upgraded to cobblestone making the total number of plates I have on the supports 192 I plan on further enforcing it with spike traps and such at ground level, my bad is currently 5 blocks tall and the support beams to hold the base up have additional supports to assist with stability to prevent the base from collapsing, so my question being, 1. If for some reason I have to do a horde night in my house could it withstand a horde, this will be my second horde night, and 2. Should I add more to assist with keeping my base from falling or is this going to be sufficient, I will post pics at a later date as I am in Oregon and it's 100° currently and my room is upstairs with terrible cooling [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 27 Jun 2021 08:14 AM PDT I've always been a fan of the more traditional "strength in numbers" approach for zombies. I love this game other than the insane HP on certain zombies where you can shoot them in the head with high powered weapons which they can tank. In essence im looking for a mod that turns zombies into more of the 28 weeks later variety. Also on a side note, are there any zombie ai mods that change their ai from the predictable "go for the weakest block and climb up" strategy? Many thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||
