7 Days To Die Stream/Let's Play Saturday

(PC)So, I have apparently developed a superpower. I can crash anyone's server...The issue is, I have no idea how it happened or how to fix it. I was trying to join a friends server, and it kept crashing when i'd try to join, and I decided to test it on a server I had played on before. That server crashed as I was joining, so I found an almost full server and while my friend watched the server population, it disappeared, dropped my connection, and the server disappeared off the list...WTF is going on, and is it terminal??

Trench depth?

Yo, i want to dig a trench around my base so zombies don't annoy me at base

How deep should it be so they don't jump down to "dig" on the walls?

Was also thinking of using the arrow slits block, not sure what works "best" seems like some zombies just don't care if there are slits or not they just cross while other get "stuck" on it

7d2d server hosting through Pterodactyl

Hey! So I do a lot with minecraft, but my staff and I like to play a bit of 7d2d on breaks and stuff. We already have a pretty solid dedicated machine through our Minecraft exploits - and have more then enough power to host a 7d2d server. Our machine is running the Pterodactyl panel - and I had a few questions.

Would I be able to just the 7d2d egg with a server instance like I would with a normal server instance?
Is there any special circumstances I should consider for our machine environment to ensure the game runs properly? ie - Minecraft nowadays requires Java 16, so on so forth...
Any special DNS records that need to be established to make the game run properly, or is there something there I haven't found?

A tier list I made of all the weapons with the exception of the throwables. I included the tools because some of them double as decent melee weapons IMO (Trigger Warning, controversial opinions afoot)

Pro tip for motion sensors on PvP servers

If you use motion sensors to trigger auto turrets in order to save power they become the weak link because if the player shoots the camera out, anything they power (like the guns) turn off.

I use a method where once the camera sees another player they activate a door or a hatch which upon opening will cover over where the camera is. that way the player cant shoot the camera out. many people put the sensors behind bars, but bars don't stop them being shot out.

Pro tip... you can actually cover the light shaft for you underground farm and solar panels

So on a PVP server many people have underground bases, and if you want an underground farm and solar panel you need an open light saft. At best most people put bars in this. but bars are weak and you can see/shoot through them to destroy the solar panel.

The solution is using a roller shutter door, when its open it travels horizontally. and if placed in the correct location will cover the shaft with itself. it has 7500hp. you can't shoot through it like bars or see through it. meaning you can place traps on the other side for when/if they break through it.

Looking for Darkness Falls Friends

Hey guys. I'm running a dedicated Darkness Falls server right now playing solo bc my friends are turds. They got into 7D with me but quit after a week or so and the game got its hooks in me so I'm going ham.

This is a fresh install, I'm on day 5. Currently solo, open to a wipe if you would want to start fresh. Doesn't matter to me just looking for some friends to play with!

About me: PC player, US Central time zone. 35 years old but I act about 17. Tells too many dick jokes.
