| Mods that are about content over difficulty Posted: 18 Jun 2021 04:18 PM PDT So, I've put 400-ish hours into the vanilla game, and am looking to get into mods. I've looked at some of more frequently mentioned ones like Undead Legacy, Darkness Falls and Ravenhearst. Thing is, they all seem to be able making the game a hell of a lot harder - and in ways that amplify parts of the game I already don't super enjoy like making food a lot harder to manage or tool durability harder. I see features I like a lot! Hit E to harvest farms, new vehicles, new zombies, new items and weapons! Then I keep reading and you starve faster and all food has a higher chance to poison you. Well, first of all, canned food was - literally - invented to prevent that so...fudge off. Oh also all those cool new items? Yeah you have to find them to break them down into schematics to grind out 287345 new parts to craft them, and when they break down you can only repair them to be less effective. Look, I'll be honest, if you can send me a video of breaking a fucking crowbar by beating flesh with it, I'll send you every single penny I make for the rest of my life. Tool durability is the least realistic thing ever. Needs to go the way of the Dodo. So, are there any mods out there that are big on content and add some challenge to compensate, or are they all "Lots of content but FUCKING DARK SOULS NOW BITCH!" [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 19 Jun 2021 08:31 AM PDT I was thinking it would be cool if you could make a trap that could attract zombies. Something that looks like a scarecrow. It could have meat as a crafting component to act as bait. Could be different versions, one with barb wire that slows zombies, one with spikes that kills zombies, one that explodes after being destroyed or a combination of all 3. Posted: 19 Jun 2021 10:46 AM PDT so seeing as it's on sale for cheap, and knowing a bit from friends and youtubers, i've decided to get 7DtD. one thing i'm wondering is if you find either a hill or mountain, start digging into the side, and do the usual things like reinforcements and making rooms, how well protected would i be? i know that zombies have an angry mode where they just start breaking and digging, but would ones that are above me start digging down to try and attack, or would they try to find or make a side entrance? | Lost my base and I rage quit years ago Posted: 19 Jun 2021 07:01 AM PDT Like it says, havent played in years but thinking about giving it a go. Lost my base when the farm next refreashed or respawned or whatever. All my stuff just disappeared house included. Is this still somthing that can happen? Do I need to worry that all my loot and stuff will just one day disappear? Basically I had spent quite a bit of time at hardware store near by, like days, went back to my base and it was gone. | Posted: 19 Jun 2021 02:28 AM PDT We started a 7 days to die server on our Pterodactyl panel, and have all of the ports listed allocated to the server. In addition we've set up a Nitrogen world (10k) but the server doesn't seem to be joinable - all of us have timed out on connection - and our sysadmin is on vacation for several days. Here's our latest log if anyone has any idea on how to get it working Edit: found the issue - needed to add ports 26901-26903 in addition to 26900 [link] [comments]  | ||

I've only been playing in my friends world and we had no problem playing together this morning and me launching it in general but now it keeps crashing, I revarified the files and tried to launch again but its still crashing, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling aswell as restarting my computer multiplpe times, all my drivers seem to be updated.
