Why is the entire base building community focused on horde nights? Just have fun! Posted: 16 Jun 2021 01:43 PM PDT I don't really get it. I only have around 200 hours so I know I'm not a die hard fan, but why is it every time people post photos of there bases people in the comments focus on 'Wow this noob is building a big base' or 'This isn't good for horde night' I understand its a big part of the game but I love building stupid nice looking bases, decked out with the whole ornaments and furniture that life can give me, If its horde night ill just move away for a couple minutes, or go high up, anything to defend my beautiful home! How to play/get the modpacks to work or something along these lines Posted: 16 Jun 2021 06:22 PM PDT I've played this game a good amount, and so has the group I am with and it's about time to branch out. Not too sure what we are looking for, i know ravenherst exists, darkness falls is one and there was a borderlands mod thing i remember seeing a while back not sure if that is still a thing. Tips to lower RAM consumption of Dedicated Server and/or client? Posted: 16 Jun 2021 04:46 PM PDT I'm using a couple mods and also a world generated with Compo Pack and KingGen and when I create a server with the world (mind you is a new game with zero players in) the game starts using 11GB of RAM, I would be OK with it if it werent because when I enter the server with the client that process also consumns a lot of RAM, it starts with 7~9GB and I could play like that but sooner or later all the RAM will be consumed and either the server or the client will crash. So, do you have any tips to lower the RAM consumption on the server or client? I've tried with two worlds one is 8K and the other is 16K between the two the RAM difference is 2GB (with 8K world the server started with 9GB) so I rather be playing in the 16K map. I'm thinking on getting more RAM but until then I would like to know if there is any way to lower the RAM consumption.
