- I performed a fresh start on my laptop and was getting really bad performance and insane CPU temps even when I had everything on low with 1280x720. This video seemed to solve it, make sure you do these things if you haven’t!

| Posted: 29 Jun 2021 03:12 PM PDT Story of my first game with no idea what's going on. I start and do the tutorial and find the trader. I then explore a nearby POI. After climbing to the attic, there's a ton of mines and I can't figure out how to set them off. I tried throwing spears, rocks, and shooting with arrows but they didn't go off. So I went up and smacked it with an axe. Down to 3 hp. I finish looting and head to another house. Floor breaks, I fall in a hole and die. Perfect. Probably didn't help that I'm playing with consistent 10fps and my computer is so hot that I'm almost burning my fingers when I press the keys. [link] [comments]  | ||

Cause I like the hecticness of a horde night that almost steamrolls you. So towards the end game, I tend to get bored. I play with maxed out hordes and the difficulty 1 under insane along with 2 other people. I don't like going to the highest difficulty as they become too much of a bullet sponge. | Multiplayer blood moons are too difficult Posted: 29 Jun 2021 06:25 AM PDT Hey everyone. My friends and I started playing 7 days again after a 4 month break. We are playing with just the 3 of us and we decided to take It nice and slow. We fortified a house with a wall around It and set up some hatches and torches for the first horde.... Oh how we were wrong. My friend started screaming and I could hear his blunderbuss going off. I came to him and saw at least 25 zombies piling into the 1x2 doorway we had made for him to protect. A few of them actually clipped through (hence why the blunderbuss) As I was helping him, my other friend started screaming as well. he was dealing with the same thing only there were also dogs around. They broke through all our defenses and we ended up barricading ourselves in the loot room. At 04:00 we all releases a sigh of relief as we stepped outside. The base was ransacked and broken to pieces. The few lingering zombies were dealt with and we decided to call it a night. TLDR: Is there a way to not get rofflestomped by the zombie horde at day 7? We are not good at this game but definitly not that bad. Anything in the code I should change or something. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Wow thanks to everyone who commented! Special thank you to Mister_Cairo for providing the details on changing gamefiles. You are a legend. We also moved on from the multiple bottleneck gameplan. | Alpha 19.5 keeps crashing this week Posted: 29 Jun 2021 07:52 AM PDT My computer ran the entire game fine all throughout the other alpha's, and now it keeps crashing. I thought maybe it was nitrogen's map gen being wayyyy too many buildings, so I deleted the map, I turned down the in game resolution, I turned off motion blur, I uninstalled and re-installed the game, I made sure the files were verified or whatever, so does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to make lights stay even when far away? Would love to be able to see my base from afar like a shining beacon in the night. [link] [comments]  | ||
