- So does this mean we're gonna see totally new city generation that puts the buildings closer together, instead of having huge gaps between them? And it also looks like better road placement too? Either way, this looks really good and I'm excited to see how it works.

Almost to a thousand hours /played. Woo. Posted: 06 Sep 2021 09:24 PM PDT Love this game. Keep coming back to it with every update. I don't know how many copies I've bought for friends on steam. A lot of them say they don't like it, but its okay to be wrong. I personally have been playing off and on since at least 2014, if not earlier. I know it was still in that weird wobbly blocky stage where it looked like minecraft but it melted. Since then I've learned a lot, loved making treehouses until they took that from us. But now I've found making historically accurate castles is the most effective base design, not perfect, but pretty damn close so long as you keep up on wall repairs and replace traps. If you wanna know what I mean, just watch Shadiversity's videos on castles. MACHICULATIONS! Although I've spent most of the time single player, I its easily been one of the best game experiences in my life, maybe second only to Red Alert 2. 10/10 game. Will buy again, when I find another friend who doesn't have it in their library yet. [link] [comments] | ||

Best way to deal with the c4 zombies during blood moon? Posted: 06 Sep 2021 10:14 AM PDT I had my son join me to do horde day on our server, think it was day 35 or 42. We got 6 or 7 c4 zombies. Suffice to say, although we did our best not to hit the bomb, a few went off and nuked our base. I reverted back to last save and did it by myself because he was disgusted, and I had no c4 zombies lol. Anyway, what's the best way to deal with them when they show up again. Head shotting isn't always guaranteed to happen in the chaos. [link] [comments] | ||

Example: my friends and I are playing a team PVP game every Saturday night, but the first team to get one gun just dominates the others way too quickly. War3zUk looking for advice on the early levels. Posted: 06 Sep 2021 05:08 PM PDT I've just started playing War3zUk and to say I'm not doing very well is an understatement. I went miner and the starting equipment was pretty good with tier 2-3 weapons and a 5 miner helmet. I placed down my bedroll and see the trader is just over 1km away. So off I go. Within 5 minutes I've got bird flu, a sprained leg, an abrasion and concussion. But I'm still alive, just. Less than a minute later I'm dead and back where I dropped my original bedroll. Ironically I died while I was making another bedroll incase I died. So I'm looking for tips on surviving the first few levels or even the first day. I'm playing on default settings but I'm giving serious consideration to changing them. So any advice would be much appreciated, especially on class, what sort of horde base to build and any other gems of information you could give. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 06 Sep 2021 07:45 PM PDT Ok so the issue with stun baton is not necessarily that it is weak but the main issue is that steel club and sledge are WAY TOO strong. Steel sledge basically one shots most zombies in the game and if it doesn't one shot someone, it will knock them on the ground(with mods and stuff). Steel clubs is something i use a lot and it basically one shots most zombies.. and even if it doesn't, it either knocks them down or makes them do the "hurt in the head" kind of animation, both of which are basically short term stun effects... The "stun" effect off stun baton is completely unnecessary when u can simply kill zombies with clubs and sledges or even if u don't, you can either knock them down or they will do that animation which temporarily stops them from attacking, so the "stun" effect is basically available with clubs and sledges too in some form. Now how would I change stun baton? I don't know but i think that no matter what it will never even come close to being as effective as steel clubs and sledges unless it does something which neither of those weapons can do. If it was upto me i would make stun batons not a melee weapon but strictly a crowd control weapon. They would use next to no stamina and they will always stun enemies and increase the stun duration. This would allow the user to switch to a club to finish them off. This change will make stun baton very good against a large crowd of enemies since with a guaranteed long stun with every single hit the player can stun all the nearby zombies and then escape A more practical change would be to complete remove the ability of the club and sledge to knock the enemy down or to inflict those short term stuns on them. Make it so that literally the only melee weapon which can "stun" enemies is the stun baton. The knock down ability makes the "stun" absolutely useless. I would completely remove any knocking down effect from clubs and sledges, this alone would elevate the stun baton to a decent level. Any ideas on how to improve this useless weapon? Need help troubleshooting my horde base Posted: 06 Sep 2021 08:18 AM PDT As you can see from the pics, the zombies should follow the yellow path through the blades and into the electric fences, where I'm waiting at my shooting booth at the blue star to pick them off. But they won't path into the path unless I'm on the roof at the green star. Is the trap path too long for the zombies to spawn in and find that path and instead they attack the base foundations? If you look at my crappy MS paint, would the problem be fixed if I bend the blade path and kept the entrance closer to me? [link] [comments] | ||
