 There are a lot of perks in 7Days A17, and some aren't super great while some are well, game changing. I'm going to go over how to spend the points the most efficient way for a solo player looking to get to level 300. Before I really get into this, I have no idea if this has been said before, but I haven't seen anything posted about it on here since A17 came out. Okay to start things off, max level is 300 which gives us 299 skill points to earn by leveling. We can get another 4 from the starting quests. For a total of 303 points. It seems like a lot but is it enough to buy everything? Well no but, stick with me, it is enough to buy everything that it actually worth getting. Each main perk group (Perception, Strength, etc) can be leveled to 10 costing 22 points each. 110 points for max level on everything without buying any actual perks from the tree.

=Perception has 50 points worth of perks... =Strength has 45 =Fortitude has 40 (Fortitude has 45 total but one perk isn't able to be bought atm) =Agility has 40 =Intellect has 44

This adds up to 329 total buy-able perks. With our max skill points being 303, we can't buy everything, but we can get that 329 total down to something more manageable.

-Wearing the items "Cigar" and your choice of "Shades" or "Ski Goggles" you can save 10 points worth of skills. For example; getting your strength to 9/10 and wearing the +1 Strength Cigar, skips the 5 total skill points needed to buy the 10/10 perk. You get full benefits of having 10/10, while only having 9/10. The same can be done for "Shades" or "Ski Goggles" but you can only wear one at a time. [-10 points]

-We can also skip the last 2 levels of the Pack Mule perk. Having any full set of armor equipped with level 3 extra pockets, negates the last 2 levels of pack mule. This does require 5 level 3 extra pockets, but this should not be a problem if you are going to be level 300. [-2 points]

We shaved off 12 points bringing the total down to 317. However we can still go lower! These next few are just perks that aren't worth it in the long run, especially if you are at level 300 with full loot to spare.

-Well Insulated: helps you manage temperature without any clothing items to do so, but with clothing so available, and armor mods, it isn't worth in the long run. [-5 points]

-Olympic Swimmer: Holding your breath for longer and more speed in the water. I can only see this helping on maybe a pvp server with an underwater entrance where anyone without the perk would drown before making it inside. However for single player, not really needed. [-5 points]

-Light Armor/Heavy Armor: You should only wear one type of armor at a time, so you can save another 5 points in the other armor you wouldn't be using. 5/5 Light Armor, 0/5 Heavy Armor [-5 points]

-Charismatic Nature: This perk only has a place in multiplayer, but for single player, not helping at all. (Even in multiplayer I never have wanted to get this perk.) [-4 points]

 With these perks out of the way, this brings our total down to 298 perks to buy, which is great! We wouldn't even have to do the starter quests and we could still get everything we would need.

-An honorable mention goes out to sham chowder which gives +1 Fortitude for 10 minutes. This could save 5 skill points, but having to waste food for the free points doesn't seem worth to me.

Tldr: You can buy pretty much every perk as long as you wear the few items and don't max out certain skills, level Strength to 9/10 and Perception or Agility to 9/10, and mod your armor correctly. I thought this was information that could help anyone manage the stress of building the right path on the skill tree, as it can be overwhelming at first glance.

I know we already have room for all the perks that we could need, but comment if there are any other ways to cheat out a few extra skill points!

Desert biome have less zombies??

My husband and I have been playing this game together for awhile now, we constructed a new Outpost in the desert biome. We decked it out with a bunch of traps and reinforced it like crazy.... We noticed on night 7 it's been relatively scarce for zombies on that night. Is this normal because it's the desert? It seems like there is more zombies towards the middle of the map. Any thoughts? We play on PS4 if that makes a difference....

Best plan of action on day one?

So I havent played in a very long time and a lot has changed. Not to mention I havent really ever made a base that I was proud of. I'm really interested in playing but so far I keep getting killed by a wolf on day 2 or something haha. What's the best first base? Should I hold up in a house while I build something? Should I dig? Hopefully I can get some good tips. I do make sure to do the quests for the skill points. Any tips are welcome!

Can't throw molotovs
