- A noobs first 7th day goes from catastrophe to insane with a song suggestion from chat.
- Every time I see an air conditioning unit at a house I have the urge to bust it up with a wrench. Anyone else have similar IRL issues?

- Just curious does console have a different map then PC? I'm currently on PS4 looking for the mountain House with a bunker under it and went to the coordinates and found nothing.

| Posted: 28 Jul 2019 05:26 AM PDT I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet or not, but on my group's most recent game, they stumbled across a weird but profitable glitch while being dumb. What you need is a bunch of stuff you want more of and a supply crate drop, plus 2 people. One person opens the drop and replaces all the stuff in it with the stuff you actually want. Food, casino tokens/cash, weapons, whatever you want. (You can drag and drop the stuff out of it if you don't want to dupe those.) And then once you have the slots filled with stuff and while the first person who did that still has the supply drop inventory open, the second person breaks the crate. It drops a bag that contains exact copies of everything that you put in it. It took me a few days before I figured out how they were getting so much ammo. lol [link] [comments]  | ||

| (Local hosting FPS fix) Make your 6 cores+ CPU shine! Posted: 28 Jul 2019 04:18 PM PDT Disclaimer!!!, This guide is RAM and CORE COUNT dependent, it will NOT magically give you fps if your GPU can't handle the game, if you can't even run this game in singleplayer, well, you're fucked. !!All you'll need is the Dedicated server launcher in steam tools!!. And 10GB of RAM 500mb per player in navezgames and 1GB of RAM per player in RWG My findings are, Game run at 4 cores maximun and is leaving some cores idle, Client fps is tied to host fps when hosting locally. Also dedicated hosting eliminates stuttering in game world and in bigger PoIs. There's no doubt that this game will make your system cry, especially older hardware , for example Fx's and older 6 cores + cpus. Calculating Ai and Physics for every player present in a MP session is really demanding. We all know that the older FX's are beasts of it's era, that in 2012 they would wreck intel in everything that didn't use single thread performance, and still in 2019 they work surprisingly well for they age. My research started here https://www.reddit.com/r/7daystodie/comments/cgmzq4/wtf_is_this_fps/ when hosting game for friends my game would crawl to a stop running at 5 fps maximun. In my reseach the game doesn't use more than 4 cores, performance didn't change a lot when using 4/6/8 cores, but did decrease using 2. And now we come to the important part, Locally hosting your game makes all that happen during your gameplay be calculated on your CPU, theses 4 cores are used to calculate AI, Physics, shadows ,pp ,Sun rays, basically everything graphics to physics. Since we have 4 spare cores we can host a dedicated server in theses spare cores withouth affecting the host performance. Leaving the physics and ai to be calculated in the dedicated server, and host only needing to calculate graphics at most. You'll need to set-up your server, theres a lot of guides out there, and you can even use a already hosted local game, you'll just need to google how to do it, this guide is getting a little extense already. Run you dedicated server and use Task manager to set your game core affinity to 0-2-4-6 AND Dedicated server core affinity to 1-3-5-7. , If using 6 core CPU you can tweak afiinitys making your game or your server run smoother, but 2 cores for the server should be fine Dedicated servers runs at 30 fps, when hosting you'll feel a little diference in the physics but nothing that you'll not get used to. Game runs normally at 90-120fps at 1080p, Med setting with reflections on, sun rays on. My single player fps with 64 zombies Med graphics, sun rays on, 1080p reflections on was 35 At Horde Local multiplayer fps 720p, all low/off, 4 players, 8 zombies, is 5 fps at Horde Dedicated hosting in spare cores, 1080p. Posted: 28 Jul 2019 03:56 PM PDT I love to collect all the loot in houses then make storage boxes and paint them with the desired loot, however there is only guns, ammo, health, building, explosives and food. But with all the new things added there should be a book paint and hand tools and a clothes one as well. It just feels weird throwing clothes in a random box or the small rectangle boxes.
