| Clearing and looting PoI question Posted: 16 Jul 2019 08:41 PM PDT On PC, So i got back into the game after a while i think A15 or early A16 is when i last played i've read and got most stuff that changed I am on my 21st night some changes are bothersome but i can live with them. One thing that truly bothers me is I am stealth looting a PoI and and cleared some of the PoI with no mishaps but all of a sudden a random Zed (or a group depending what spawns as the pass through) will automatically know I'm inside the building, where exactly I am and break what ever is in the way to make their way towards me so i have to rush back outside to deal with him or risk being pincered since if i ignore him i have no idea where exactly he will break though. Is there and way to avoid or deal with this without having to rush outside? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 16 Jul 2019 09:36 PM PDT I host a P2P server with my friends. There are six of us in total, four in the same household and two others from different states, but all in the same time zone. One of the guys in a different state has serious ping issues ranging from 60 then skyrocketing up to 28k. He's done a lot of searching, but everything we find is either a year old or a previous alpha. He's updated his drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled, verified his integrity files in steam and went as far to move it to another drive. He's the only one having this issue. If anyone could give some advice on what we can do to fix his issue it would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 16 Jul 2019 09:20 PM PDT I've been playing this game since probably 2013 on and off. Usually with other people, seldom by myself, but its always pretty fun. This time, I had a group of people and decided to pay for a hosted server through BlueFangSolutions. Everything went great, right up until the first blood moon. No zombies. Not a single one. No horde attacking us, nothing. So I had hyped up this night 7 to all these new players, and nothing happened. First time I've ever not had zombies show up on the blood moon. So, I think its probably a fluke. Play through to day 14, again, no zombies. Send in a ticket, get advised to start a new seed. We start a new one, but same thing. We went online and looked at different posts and tried to change things up. Still no zombies. Started another new game, this time after uninstalling and reinstalling the server files. Same thing. We're on our 5th seed now, and played all the way through night 47 and not a single blood moon with zombies. If I go to solo player mode, or start a game on my system that people can join in, we don't have this issues. So I'm pretty sure it has to do with the server we're hosted by. But every support tickets says they can't find anything wrong and they always suggest a restart. Which doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue or can shed a light on it for me? | Posted: 16 Jul 2019 06:25 PM PDT Ive been doing jobs for the traders, got one to clear an area that I've done many times before, but when I go to start the quest the rally point isn't where it's been the last couple time and I can't get closer than 10m to it. I tried going up 2 stories and digging down and that didn't work either. It's the "Face the bears drink for free" place if that matters. [link] [comments]  | ||

My friends and I have rented a dedicated server, and the kind people running the hosting service even installed War of the Walkers for us. We used the mod launcher to use War of the Walkers, and the server won't let us join without launching the game with the mod. We get all the UI changes that come with the mod, but the basic structure of the game, items and skills seems to be the same. The Data and the Mods folder are both in the main directory for the server. Do they need to be in a subdirectory? I could post a picture of the folder structure if that would be helpful. | Posted: 16 Jul 2019 05:10 AM PDT Im simply looking for some challenging but not borderline pure survival mods sense horde nights arent very hard (Just drive around or grab coffe and a shotgun + rifle) so im looking for something that adds fast zombies (Not every zombie would be pretty annoying when looting houses) but something that makes them tad faster at horde nights maybe a new zombie ?
