why do zombies sound the same regardless of distance? Posted: 23 Aug 2019 01:52 AM PDT any zombie somewhere around 10-15 feet, even if they are through a wall or two they sound exactly the same loudness as a zombie a feet away from me, since a zombie can be hitting a building outside while im looting it i end up just zoning out of the noise and then get a nasty surprise once another zombie gets right next to me and stuns me for that matter it is quite annoying that zombies just gather around a building to smack the walls uselessly and drown out every other noise [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 10:07 AM PDT The skill books highlighted in the A18 previews look awesome, but I keep hearing things from the devs in the videos like, "This book series is great for someone who wants to role-play as a night assassin"... These books are found at random when looting. They are just going to give you some buffs. There does not appear to be any mechanic to just get the skill books in a series in any meaningful way to allow you to alter how you play your character. If I want to play with a night assassin, for example, is there a way to get specific books to help me complete that series? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 23 Aug 2019 09:24 PM PDT So i've spent more than an hour now just digging up gravel patches in the snow biome(over 400 of them, I can tell from how much lead and iron I have) and I have yet to find a single patch that has nitrate. I've found iron 90% of the time, and lead the rest of it. Does all the nitrate only spawn on the west side of navezgane or does it have some different appearance or mechanic from gravel? Maybe i'm just that unlucky :( [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 23 Aug 2019 03:47 AM PDT I have a idea for the trader base, We all have seen the beds in there that don't get used.What if there was a few survivors that could be found at the end of a big poi, when you have spoken to them they get added to the traders base. Where you can now get more quest of them. One of the npc you safe could be a hunter so you get nothing but hunting jobs from them.[link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 23 Aug 2019 09:08 AM PDT I enabled 64 zombies per player for me and my friend so we would experience a horde type of blood moon type of attack.... it was rather disappointing. Killed 20 zombies or so and they stoped spawning... is it broken? Would be amazing to have 100 zombies per player... a true survival game. [link] [comments] | ||

It would be awesome to discover and delve down some black ops, extraterrestrial, or even supernatural connection to the zombie disease. Mountain Base - Advice and ideas needed Posted: 23 Aug 2019 11:55 AM PDT Myself and my brother are going to create a new server where we find a decent mountain, dig into it and make a base. We want to have an entrance at the base of the mountain so the zombies funnel into that, and have a zombie killing type arena on the base of it, while we keep our items and safe haven above that. My question for the veterans of this current version of the game is will that work? If we leave an opening into the mountain will they go there? And do you have any advice for us with this idea? Posted: 23 Aug 2019 02:31 PM PDT We have about 10 players, and our zombie days occur every 21 days. So we hit it about once or so a day. However, everyone is out of ammo and stuff and just doesn't want to deal with it, so we all log out. But apparently the map stops and the next day when someone logs in, it's still zombie day. Is there a secret to bypassing zombie day? Like if we log out, and log back into the "rules/disclaimer" page where you "accept" and then enter? If you sit on that page, would it keep the map running? Posted: 23 Aug 2019 07:56 AM PDT My family was building a mine under our house and to the side and we made a huge cavern covering nearly our entire compound underground. But now I'm playing a game with some friends and one told me I needed pillar support or it would collapse. I'm not coming up the sides to the surface and I'm keeping layers of rocks from the sides for support. Is there really a risk of collapse and under what circumstances? Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||
