    Removed Npc's and Raiders

    So this is sort of a two part discussion thread since I did not want to make two separate threads. To start off I want to talk about removed npcs. I see on the wiki that there are a few unused or removed npc (enemies) from the game. The most interesting being the behemoth that was never implemented and completely abandoned. A few other npcs that where interesting are ones that where in the game like the mutated hornet, pig and various different looking regular zombies.

    I beleive these assests should not be tossed out and would have a place in the game. The hornet for instance can come back and maybe mainly spawn around nests that would supply raw honey when harvested. The Behemoth could have been a very cool addition to the game. I say in some discussion threads that people where expecting him to be a night 70 horde boss. I think thats an excellent idea since by night 70 you should be quite far along and should be ready for something of that size and strength.

    He could also be placed in navezgane in a POI and act as the main loot for that POI. Maybe like a underground lab POI in the wasteland biome. Then the various zombies and pig would just be a nice aesthetic addition.

    So as for raiders I am wondering what everyone thinks. We got a glimpse of them via commands and they seem to work pretty well. The only issue I have heard was they have no walk or death animation. The one major issue I could see the devs having is line of sight since I assume some bandits will be armed with guns. They may use the zombie cop as a way of not having the bandits just constantly shoot when they aggro to you.

    I also assume when they add the bandits they will add the Duke of Navezgane from their first trailer they released on their youtube channel. The duke would be a boss type enemy and I would think would be the hardest enemy in the game wich would result in the player having to be quite a high level and well equipped (or good at cheesing ai). I also think it would be a cool idea to add bandit camp POI to the game, maybe 1-2 in each biome. I can also see they having bandit groups wonder around the world though that would be pretty overwhelming for a low level player unless they have them start spawning into the game when the player reaches a certain level.

    I beleive that is all I really have to say on these topics. So what do you all think, any idea you have for either removed npc's or the raiders that could be a possibilty or would add a lot of enjoyment inot the game?

    A18 Streamer Suggestion

    I would like to suggest https://www.twitch.tv/theorigamiguru for a participant in being able to stream A18, TFP. I know there are certain requirements and things you are looking for... but he's very friendly and plays solo nightmare/permadeath almost nonstop for the past few versions. He would make a great addition to the team IMO... or maybe I just really want to watch it... Might not be the best method but ya never know! Here's hoping others may watch him and maybe someone from TFP may consider it. It would be fun to see someone playing Hard-Core as part of the pre-release streams.

    A small tip about blocks specifications.

    I made a sheet containing every blocks' specification that are craftable and frequently used.

    I double-checked every single specs and blocks inside of game. But if you find something is not correct or suspicious, please let me know so I can fix it.

    <Notes>

    1. Mass means how much weight the block has.
    2. Horizontal Support means how much weights the block can support (or attach).
    3. Vertical Support means whether the block can stack up other blocks. (Usually small objects will have No spec.)
    4. Light Opacity means whether the block can penetrate water or sunshine. (0 : fully penetrate, 1-254 : semi-penetrate, 255 : Never)
    5. Explosion Resistance means the block's explosion resistance buff.
    6. Abbreviation R means Reinforced.
    7. Almost all variable blocks of the same kind have same specs. (Example : Wood Block and Wood Plate have same specs.)
    8. Some of the blocks will have slightly different specs with same kinds. (Example : Brick 1/2 Block has 1 of Light Opacity while other 1/2 blocks have value of 255.
    9. Hit Points mean how much damage can it endure.

    How do you get rid of the green box (pillars of light) around the land claim box?

    I'm an idiots - but controls menu doesn't say what control shows and gets rid of the green box that appears like 30 meters out from the land claim box. it's ruining my immersion and I can't figure it out

    Advice on getting a ton of iron?

    So I'm the main person in our group that is working on base defences. And recently I decided to go with the concrete trench with spinning blades inside it. But.... in order to make concrete blocks you need alot of iron. So quite simply. What are the best perks/locations for iron?

    (We are on navezgane btw if that matters)

    Question on Structural Stability

    Hey everyone!

    Obligatory - I played a huge amount of this game over a year ago, and set it aside because of the long update schedule, but have gotten the urge and have come back.

    Question referring to current build A17.

    Can a building be supported by it's sides. My thought is to suspend a building in a pit with no pillars under, just a minimum number of side supports.

    Is this feasible? Or a pipe dream.

    (I'd figure out access and defense on the supports later, not going to sink the time and effort into this is someone else knows it won't work lol)

    I’m new to 7D2D so forgive me if this is a noob question.

    I'm new to 7D2D so forgive me if this is a noob question. I keep seeing all these posts about a18 and a17 and I could gather they were update modules. Problem is, I don't want them, and I'm on ps4. How can I revert to a previous update? My SO and I used to play this all the time, we had even built the mini bikes and a huge castle. We set it down for awhile, then when we came back there was a WHOLE BUNCH of new shit that SO and I didn't really ask for or need. Is there any way to revert it to a simpler installment?
