Questions i have are, is it worth paying for again to get the pc version? and will i be able to easily play on a controller if i switch? i cannot stand mouse and keyboard (yeah i know its better but ive just never felt comfortable with it and thus prefer controller). thank you! | Selecting a specific random gen seed for a rented dedicated server Posted: 26 Aug 2019 01:37 PM PDT So i found a really good seed online called Crackpot Kentucky, this is where i found it it has 3 traders right next to each other and a good placement of biomes. a couple of my friends are interested in playing with me, so today i rented a server to use for us to play on. im trying to get this "crackpot kentucky" seed as our map we play on. in the XML file, i believe im supposed to input this seeds name in the <property name="WorldGenSeed" perimeters. it does load a map into the server, but it is not the one i played before, i ran for about 25 minutes to get to the part of the map i played on single player and it isnt correct is it possible to get it to work? anyone know what im doing wrong? forgive me if im coming across as an idiot, im pretty clueless about all this and all ive figured out how to do, i learnt in the last 7 hours. took me 5 hours to actually get the server to boot properly at all after putting in the game settings i wanted. thanks in advance [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 26 Aug 2019 09:22 AM PDT So I'm having issues with 7 days crashing my girlfriend's computer randomly screen goes black she exits Discord and the screens just black. The computer won't restart until you turn it off and turn it back on then the game loads in fine until at some random point it crashes again. Is anyone else had this issue?? | Posted: 26 Aug 2019 02:46 AM PDT This game is horrifically lacking in absolutely crucial knowledge on how to play. Even just stuff like informing you on how filling food is before you craft it is absolutely essential and completely missing from the game. I can't figure out what to do with schematics. Putting it in my hotbar and using it does nothing, nothing is popping up in either the science bench or workbench, I found some people recommending trying to attach the schematic to the weapon so that it would tell you the ingredients...none of it works. I also can't figure out what levels I need to craft military armour. It just straight up doesn't tell you, and neither does the wiki. Is there a better wiki/source of information than the gamepedia wiki? Or can you help me figure out schematics or military armour? Thanks for reading. [link] [comments]  | ||
