| Posted: 03 Sep 2019 05:33 PM PDT Hello folks, Quite some time ago I had this idea(I'm sure a few others have had it too I'm not trying to claim full credit) to play the game with only what you find. I presented this idea to Josh Aka Jawoodle(Check him out he's awesome) and he ran with it and is doing quite well with it. But I want to get this challenge out there more so others can experience it and enjoy it. The No Crafting Challenge. Rules: You can scrap stuff, you can repair stuff, you can place and upgrade blocks that exist or that you find/buy. You cannot use the crafting menu for anything other than constructing a vehicle, IF you find all the parts. Abandon your starting quest, it requires you to craft and your not doing that here. Good luck finding your traders. Perma death is optional, set loot to 200% everything else vanilla. How long can you survive. Tips; Lucky looter is a huge benefit. Quests and daring adventurer are next. Now one thing I love about this is how it not only changes your perception of certain features of the game, but teaches you to play in new ways that enhance a normal playthrough afterwords. | Posted: 03 Sep 2019 06:21 AM PDT This would be a brand new craftable station which would allow the creation of much more weapons uncluding handmade guns! Fallout 4 like. this would also allow you to upgrade and add mods to those weapons such as more damage , speed etc, it would allow you to put on mods such as fire, electricity, bleeding etc like in dead island. The only caveat would be real weapons would be much less common but a lot more powerful. I think this would create a much more fun side task and a thing to do rather than just randomly finding guns and a lot more fun into the game alltogether. What do you guys think? | Looking for auger parts... and... Posted: 03 Sep 2019 02:26 AM PDT Hello everyone, Love this game! Quick question: I was scavenging for engines and batteries, stripping cars and stuff... So i found myself a 447 battery and a 518 engine. All good so far. So since my base was gucci for hord night and all, i went To loot a work and stiffs... need the auger parts man... Then this happened: inventory full, i had just filled it up by picking up ?!?! (I didn't have time To check exactly, i got hit by a zombie). So i try To back up quick, but hit S without hitting tab first.... see where this is goin? I scrapped ?!?!?! (Hopefully not an engine or auger parts), it gave me 300 scrap iron... I got scared and told myself i had just scrapped an engine or even worse, the auger parts... Anyone know what scraps into 300 iron? Engine? Auger parts ? Maybe even worse? Lol. Please tell me the engine or auger parts don t scrap into 300 iron... Playin valmod alpha 16.4 if that helps. Thx in advance! [link] [comments]  |
