    I have to give it up to TFP! A18 has been the most fun I've had with the game. It feels like the QoL changes that were made have made the game more streamlined. I just wanted to say thanks for your hard work throughout these years.

    Starting invincible poi horde base for next to no effort

    Not sure whether this particular poi is known or used due to nobody mentioning it at least on reddit, but the trailer park houses the strongest starting poi ive ever used. It may look unassuming and a dump but there is 1 fully walled STEEL! Trailer there with more than enough room inside for storage, campfires forges etc and 10k + health walls for free.

    All that needs to be worked on is putting stairs around the bottom letting the zombies walk up to and focus on the steel not the iron it sits on. Next place some sheets (not necessary) on the steel adding even more health as well as lowering any forge steel that might be needed to repair, which isn't much tbh.

    Then simply place 1 row of iron bars around the roof to shoot off of and stop spiders, build a roof of any quality even wood to stop the birds. Surround the trailer with spikes, due to its small size you can build quite the amount of rows very quickly to slow them down and potentially die before even getting to touch the iron sheets and then the steel.

    This can all easily be done in a day or 2 and you literally can't die unless you let some cops wail on the walls all night and do nothing about it.

    Also great for building up later and including things like turrets after a few horde nights if you wish.

    Edit: forgot to add destroying the iron door and replacing it 2 steel blocks takes away that weak point. And putting the way in on the roof out of any danger

    Tested on the highest blood moon spawn lvl you can put and up to day 35 with no issues (just make sure you've got some protection from vomiting cops) meaning you can focus on looting storing masses of concrete etc for when you wish to make your main build

    Go into the config folder > gamestage > scroll down to the "difficulties" and change whatever difficulty you play on and change the bonus to 2.5. You'll get the insane difficulty bonus without the zombies becoming bullet sponges.

    Also... When you're there change "daysalivechangewhenkilled" to = 0

    So dying doesn't negatively affect your gamestage!

    Suggestion: I would love to see a "stack to chest" button in the Inventory.

    So all items that are not in the hotkey bar will automatically get into the nearest chest, if there is already the same item/stack inside. (With a maximum range of course (5-10 meters)) Blatantly stolen from Terraria or any other game that has it but it would make getting home so much easier. (And it wouldnt drive the builder on our multiplayer server crazy because now he basically created an "incoming" chest and then he sorts all the stuff himself)

    Does anyone play this with GeForce NOW and know if you can play A18 with that?

    Girlfriend has a not-gaming laptop. I have access to GeForce NOW. Combined, her laptop runs A17.4 just fine. The problem is, we're playing A18 now and I can't find a way to get access to A18 on GFN. Installing the game directly and skipping GeForce NOW nets her 9-15 FPS with nothing going on. RIP.

    Anyone know a way to do it? Used to be able to launch a game you didn't own and install any other game via the Steam interfaces, but you can't do that now due to a recent update to GFN, so if you try to stop the game from launching, or exit it, you get a brief moment with Steam's UI, but not long enough to change it over to the latest experimental build.

    Posted this over on the nVidia subreddit too to see if they have any insight, but since this problem is specific to 7 Days A18, figured I'd ask here too.

    Crafted item should automatically go into your bar, if a slot is free.

    That is something, bothering me long time.

    You have a slot open in your bar. You craft something. When it is finished, it goes into your inventory. So you have to go into your inventory and put the crafted item from there to your bar to use it.

    Why not automatically (if a slot is free)?

    Would be just a small QoL feature.

    Just loaded up a save from earlier today and all tools/weapons are worn out..

    Can someone explain what the 4k, 8k, and 16k options are in the proc gen menu?

    I originally thought that 4k maps were quite small, and 16k maps were really large, but now I've done some reading and apparently these options only change the preview size, meaning all maps are the same size. Is this true? Kind of a bummer if every map is the same size...

    So, my boyfriend and I have two different games going. We have one with just me and him and one with our friends. The one with just me and him on night 7 it will go all night until 4am. On the game with our friends we get one wave at 22 and that's it! We don't get anymore. Is there any particular reason that it's happening that way? They are on the same difficulty level.

    50 million xp per level @ lvl 175?

    So... I was doing some recording, and inadvertently ran across the insanely high Experience requirements as you progress.

    While I was trying to push my gamestage up to try a base build, it was getting weirdly difficult, and I realized that I needed something like 50 MILLION experience for a single level.

    Now I'm concerned that this is intended, just to prevent players from effectively getting above a certain level (100? 110?) as beyond that it's insanely difficult to gain levels. Or maybe something just went wrong!

    Now I admit I haven't played the game to get anywhere near even level 50, but is the XP gain needed excessive? What level do you expect to be at say day 100, or day 300, that would be reasonable?

    Has anyone tried a water moat for a horde base?

    IIRC zombies are slowed down in water. Could be a good solution to the demolisher problem: build a base in a lake/river and set up a bunch of auto turrets. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Couple things some may not know.

    When looting, remember that if you find anything that already has dye in it, take it out before you scrap/sell it. it is worth 150 dukes to the trader where that shirt or rank one armor piece may only be worth 8-10 dukes with the dye in it.

    Farm plots are still harvestable on some small poi's I have gotten 20 so far today. 3-4 per poi that has them, just have to use a shovel.

    Battery bank not charging.

    I have the below connection set up:

    Generator(6 Engines) -> Battery Bank(4 batteries) -> Switch -> Pylons.

    With the generator turned on, the battery bank turned on and the switch turned off so power is not circulating to my electrical equipment, the batteries are not charging.

    I cannot figure out the issue. Does anyone have a solution?
