Roaming npc raiders and other npc survivors(since online is just hackers atm) Posted: 25 Feb 2020 07:11 AM PST So after playing pvp servers for quite sometime, i just got sick off the hackers and started playing single player, but i cant help to feel that empty feeling.. i would love to see other npc that build bases survive and even fight each other for survival. I know this aint no small thing especially when it comes to coding but still a man can dream cant he? Heard there was a mod once adding a few things but it dont seam to be updated in like a million years, guess il just have to stroll pvp servers when i feel lonelly.. Also like to add that after the last patch everytime i fire at a player in multiplayer the game freeze up for a second often resulting in me loosing the fight donnu why this happens. submitted by /u/Arieswar82 [link] [comments]

Which POIs get reset by quests? Posted: 25 Feb 2020 09:55 PM PST So, PC player here on the latest stable version of 7Days. I love moving into a POI and transforming it into a nice, homey base. Mainly because I don't love building bases from scratch, though, because I'm a perfectionist and will agonise over the most insignificant details for no good reason. After seeing a number of people mention that their bases got obliterated by POI resets because they accepted a quest, I'm starting to wonder if there's a list anywhere that includes which POIs are potential quest locations, and which ones definitely aren't? I've managed not to fall victim to this yet by avoiding quests, but I like roleplaying permadeath and I wanted to try a 'Professional Scavenger/Mercenary' approach with my next run, instead of being a Jill-Of-All-Trades, Hunter-Gatherer, Miner-Builder or Zombie Slayer, etc. Any tips would be appreciated. submitted by /u/TheElootist [link] [comments]

Destroyed buildings still appearing to be there until close by, need help pls. PC version Posted: 25 Feb 2020 11:44 AM PST Is there a graphic setting or mod or some way to get the buildings to stop appearing as if I haven't just leveled it lol? So i'm kinda bored with the game lately and i'm in destruction mode. When I fly to a building that i've destroyed, it looks normal until I get close to it, then I see the pile of rubble. Game crashing during world load Posted: 25 Feb 2020 03:48 PM PST I played this a while ago, like at least a year or so, and recently I reinstalled to see what's new. Alas, whenever I try to play the game, the loading screen gets to 'initializing world' before crashing. Every time. I've tried starting it on lowest setting and I've tried reinstalling with steam running as an administrator with no luck. But for some reason my friend can only see the server in the browser, or connect directly through IP, if I am actively logged into the server. A Combat Overhaul idea Posted: 25 Feb 2020 10:22 AM PST Hello survivors! Even though the combat has been improved in a17 .... its still simple as all hell and I have an idea that will massively improve the combat in this game. ADD: Block: left click on the mouse to block, If you do at the correct time you can temporarily stun the enemy. Push: Press a key (maybe V?) to push the enemy, this can be used to simply move away from the enemy . You can also push a stunned enemy to throw them to the ground making it a lot easier to kill them. Dodge: Press a movement key (ASD) to jump/dodge in that direction, this uses stamina.
