| Horde Night Zombie Lag: Not FPS Lag but Zombie Stagger-Step Pathing Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:30 AM PST Hey there, not sure if anyone else has experienced this or run into this issue. On the horde night we get a strange "lag". Everyone's game runs fine, no FPS issues, but the zombies seems to stagger about in circles. They sort of stagger step around and shift places as if they are lagging, but nothing else lags. Some zombies will make it to the base, but most of them can't even get that far. (even without us shooting them) The base design is simple (square fort with sea of spikes) so it is not like we are trying to challenge the pathing. Has anyone had this issue, and if so what worked to solve it? Thoughts? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Time to start base #2 - how to protect new and old? Posted: 03 Feb 2020 02:22 PM PST i have a base in one of the jails on my map that's been great and it's time to start up another location to help with the finding of material and reduce all my driving (though the 4x4 with modified speed helps there). if i go to base #2 on a non-blood moon night and put a bedroll down, will that stop the spawning enough to be relatively safe while i build/craft/mine? or do people use land claim cubes as they move around and simply put them down as they plunk down for a bit? not sure what the most effective strategy is.
