Riot Gear Modlet A18

Someone had mentioned they wanted to see Riot Shields added to the game. This is my attempt at making Riot Gear.

The modlet adds a Riot Shield and a couple of different variations to that weapon style.

Riot Shield uses the shield only. It adds 20 armor to you and a small radius AOE buff adding 10 armor to group members and allies. Primary action actually places the shield down as a barrier, filling a hole in your defenses or blocking a hallway to buy you time. Secondary action does a shield bash for minor damage but knocks zombies down!

Bruiser Shield uses a baton and riot shield combination. It adds 10 armor and gives no AOE buff. Use power attack to knock the zombies down and finish them off with your police baton!

Enforcer Shield uses a pistol and riot shield combination. It adds 10 armor and gives no AOE buff. Unfortunately, the shield is mostly cosmetic, aside from the armor buff. The pistol shoots slightly slower than a normal pistol due to you carrying the shield.

All shields make you walk and run slightly slower when equipped. There is a schematic that teaches you how to make all of them and they have been added to the trader and loot tables as well.

This is my first real mod, I hope you guys like it. =)

As the title suggest, would a flame thrower be. Good idea, a DIY version designed by mac gyver himself, and a second one which isn't a DIY job and must be found and is like a military version,

I found a gun safe in a basement. But the basement is underwater the gun safe is in a separate room with no air. How would I crack that mf'? I was about to start digging in from outside but figured I'd ask first.

Trader Missions Only Challenge

I've been thinking about doing a challenge where I can only loot POIs from trader missions. You can still harvest resources and buy/sell to the trader.

Has anyone else done a challenge like this? If so, how did it go?

Base Building advice for player new to A18 on PC

I was hoping I could find advice or suggestions on creating a long term base in 7 Days. I played this on console 2 years ago and skated by with underground bases but seeing as how they dig down I've decided to go above ground.

With my current understanding of the AI I've started building a U shaped base where the zombies can be slowed in the center and be picked off at range. Would this properly exploit the AI or are they going to bust through a back wall instead of walking around? Any help appreciated.

I see it increases loot speed, and loot bonus, what exactly does loot bonus affect ?

Treasure chests or each time you open a box or what ?

I've chewed up a lot of cars with the wrench, haven't seen them respawn.

Also is there a difference between using right or left click with the wrench?

AI Bots for Solo Games?

Has anyone developed a mod that will put "ai" players in the game that build and act like a player would? I don't even know if this is possible just thought it would be cool....

i threw 2 grenades in a deep hole and a few of the stone blocks got like 7 dmg... wtf?

what's a good fast way to dig trough stone at like level 15 (i have 2 pts in miner69er and 1 pt in sexual tyranosaurus)
