| Posted: 09 Jan 2021 01:33 PM PST So I've been watching Neebs Gaming play 7DTD for a long long time now on a recommendation from my mum who has played over 3,000 hours on her own, and I've wanted to play for so long! Well just before Christmas I told my mum I'd bought a gaming PC, she bought me a copy of the game and asked my step dad to get her a headset for Christmas so that we could play together and she could teach me how to play. Even when I do it's after hundreds of meters of a straightaway after hitting a bump. I'm holding the spacebar. I've watched youtube videos and it they can go up after like 20 meters. | Why is the spawning point so crap Posted: 09 Jan 2021 04:30 PM PST I always spawn in a wasteland no matter which type of game mode I'm sick of dying all the time by stupid dogs. I have made 9 worlds and haven't even seen a different biome. Once I even tried running for the entire day and didn't get anywhere what the hell. Is there some sort of reason for this? | Swat helmet better than steel? Posted: 09 Jan 2021 09:54 AM PST I have had this level 6 swat helmet forever. Any time I find a steel helmet, its always less armor. Even with maxed heavy armor and crafting my own steel helmet, it was less armor than the swat helm. So is swat higher than steel? [link] [comments]  | ||

It's almost unplayable. My system isn't even taxed. GPU at 15% and cpu at 40%. Is there anything I can do about it? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Looking to start a new game and would like to party up. Posted: 09 Jan 2021 09:38 AM PST So, one thing I never really did in this game was base build and explore with a party member. I've always did private servers or solo games myself and what not, so I feel as if I am missing out on half the game. In any case, the base game is too boring alone/not challenging. I decided to play around with warrior difficulty and settings and made the game fun, scary, and actually have a sense of fear. That being said, with 4 day blood moons, nightmare run speeds on blood moon, increased block damage, and 64 count zombies on blood moon, I lost my base day 28. Was fun, and I feel like I would have held them off if I had cemented my base sooner. (I got cocky) So, I'm restarting a new game and was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me. Looking really for 1 or 2 people. I'm located on the east coast for time zone purposes. Just lemme know and I'll DM you steam/discord info. [link] [comments]  | ||

This Saturday morning I thought I'd generate a fresh world to see what that's like. I was expecting Minecraft levels of waiting (several minutes). ... 51 minutes 53 seconds it said at some point, and it's still going, and me with no idea how much longer. I suggest that there be a warning on the 'create new world' menu, just warning people "new worlds can take up to an hour to generate" or however long it actually takes.
