- Got a question, when my friends try to join my game on PC only one of them actually spawns in as the character they created. But the other two appear as pure black women character, no matter how many adjustments my friend tried it wouldn’t be fixed. Anyone know how to get that adjusted?

Can you 2 shot stone with the steel pickaxe in alpha 19.3? Posted: 02 Feb 2021 12:51 PM PST I've calculated whether it is possible by either crafting a level 5 steel pickaxe with the highest random chance (+15.0%), or finding/buying a level 6 steel pickaxe. So the base block damage value of the steel pickaxe is 62.8. With full 69er and the random crafting chance (between -15.0% and +15.0%) you can make a pickaxe of 62.8 x (40.0% + 15.0%) = 97.34. You can add 3 mods which gives it a passive +18.75 bonus. With full 69er you get 62.8 x 1.5 = 94.2 extra damage. All added this gives 97.34 + 18.75 + 94.2 = 210.29 Over this, an added bonus from bunker buster is added of 15.0%. 210.29 x 1.15 = 241.8 max damage. Falling 8.2 short from twoshotting stone (500hp). With a bought/found level 6 steel pickaxe you lose out on the 15.0% random crafting chance, but instead you get the +50.0% block damage on the base value of 62.8 = 94.2 You can add 4 mods for a +25.0. Again, with full 69er you get 62.8 x 1.5 = 94.2 extra damage. All added this gives 94.2 + 25.0 + 94.2 = 213.4 Adding bunker buster bonus: 213.4 x 1.15 = 245.41. Again, not enough for the elusive 2-shot. Wondering whether anyone is able to two-shot stone with a steel pickaxe in a way that I'm not aware of, since apparently it used to be possible as per this post. [link] [comments] | ||

Been playing 7 days and Recently spooled up a fresh server through nitrado. 3 consistent players and we had the normal trouble-some day 7's. A more memorable day 35 with lots of exploders and base breaches. Tee up day 63, the addition of shotgun traps and more layers of concrete is about all thats changed. Horde seemed as big as usual, but less difficult zombies. Relatively easy night with minimal breaches. We shrugged it off hoping for an insane day 70. Day 70 just passed, smallest horde yet, barely any exploders, cops or ferals. This horde felt like day 14, not 70. We hung around shooting zombies casually as apposed to our frantic insane hordes. Nitrado changes to vanilla we made when server launched. Zombies Per player- 24 Xp- 200% No other changes have been made since the server went live. Tips for an effective home/crafting base? Posted: 02 Feb 2021 07:00 PM PST Hey all, I'm pretty new to the game and having a blast so far. I've seen heaps of threads/YouTube clips about different horde bases, and I've also seen lots of people recommend separate horde/crafting bases so that your chests don't get destroyed if you get overwhelmed on horde nights. That makes sense, so i'd love to get some tips about setting up a good home base. Does building up high or below ground reduce the chances of screamers coming if you have a few forges/mixers going at once? Is it ever safe to mine below your base? And are there any good design tips to keep the zeds away while you're tying to craft/organise your stuff? Would really appreciate any tips you guys have or any vids that explain these. She couldn't move or do anything so she quit the game and rejoined. However she whenever she tried to join it stops at the creating character screen and then the console pops up with texts that says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" We've tried restarting both games and computers but nothings working. Too much misinformation about blood moon spawning Posted: 01 Feb 2021 11:33 PM PST Things that I've seen said are true and false: • Player placed blocks stop Zombies from spawning entirely • Only some blocks with a hardcoded tag prevent Zombie spawning • Land Claim Blocks prevent spawning in their range • Bedrolls prevent spawning in their range Anecdotal evidence from my own experiences: • Land Claim Blocks did not prevent blood moon spawns 2 things have merit in my mind: • Zombies probably have a minimum distance from the player they must spawn (unfair game mechanics) • Zombies probably can't spawn by a bedroll (spawn camping) Unfortunately between the many alphas and outdated wiki information, I have no idea what is true or not. Previously when we've played we joined others, but would be nice to control everything ourselves, map size, drop rates, what drops, make sure its PvP but not mindless Rust griefing and being able to enforce that. What are some of the best companies to grab a server from? How hard is it to set up a server yourself, and modify the rates of things within it? Are admin controls easy to use as well? Probably only gonna have it up for a month, as we'll probably put like 200+ in game days into it (rate of 2hrs = 1 day), and at that point everybody is level 100 and geared to the gills. So with that being said, not looking for long term purchases. Anything else i should know?
