Check your network connection and try again" I have closed app, tested my wifi, tried changing characters, tried joining through party, and changing the bounce frequency on my internet these were all from posts years ago with the same problem that I tried and none of them work one of my other friends had the exact same problem but my others can join the world completely fine. I'd love it if someone would hop in and play cause nobody's joined yet. It's an open server btw. Also, a while back I changed horde nights to every 14 days while I built a base cause the first one I built was getting destroyed every horde night. | Letter to the Devs : From a 1000+ hours Player Posted: 10 Feb 2021 08:33 PM PST Just wanted to share some thoughts and feedback as an experienced 7 days to die long time player. The game has definitely gotten much better over the last 5 years, no doubt. The hand crafted PoIs, the quest system, the perks are all great. But I have found myself WANTING to play more, but when I hop in, I get bored very quickly and quit. I think the reason for this is that the one part of 7 days that kind of sucks is the replayability. There just isn't much benefit to starting a new character. The game rewards you infinitely more for investing all your time into one character, who eventually becomes a god at everything in the game, given enough time. I'd really like to see the gameplay shift dramatically when specialising your character thru talents. Perhaps instead of gradually increasing harvest yield, specialising into mining grants you double mining speed on all tools and access to special unique mining equipment, but as a result you cannot specialise in any other talent tree. Also, I find the early game of 7 days very boring and slow compared to the later days, even from say day 21 onwards. Having a sleep option would be amazing I think. It really is impossible to do anything meaningful at night if you have nothing to craft with on default settings. Anyway, I just wanted to offer a few suggestions for the future on what I think would draw me back into 7 days to die. EDIT : Just wanted to also add...as a big fan of ARPG's, I would love to see gear get an ARPG overhaul, where you could get affixes that empower the gear, for example an Iron Pickaxe of Efficiency, which grants +8% mining speed and +12% mining yield. Finding loot is all that much more exciting when you can look for even bigger and better loot. Im also a huge Path of Exile fan, 5k hours in that game. Give 7 days some more RPG features and it could be huge. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Salty Zombie Servers are great! Posted: 10 Feb 2021 08:35 AM PST I just wanted to tell anyone who doesn't know that the casual PVE server for Salty Zombies was a mostly great experience. The people who run it were online every time I happened to log in and were always more than happy to answer people's questions even if the answers were in writing. (You have to read the server rules before you can actually go into the world and play.) They were also more than happy to give people some gear or forges if they wanted. The server generates new maps after day 700 but there's an in game currency that you constantly accumulate so when it does restart you can purchase building materials, weapons, food, vehicles, etc. Most of all they modded the server slightly and made great improvements. You can go to their website and read everything but the best part was they increased the inventory to like 60 slots and the scrap que to 8. I play vanilla and I didn't need any mods to play. The only thing I didn't like was the server seemed to restart very, very often. This could've just been coincidence as I wouldn't play for more than a couple hours at a time BUT when it does restart its back up literally on 1-2 minutes. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Unstable buildings make the game unfun Posted: 10 Feb 2021 05:45 AM PST I have been trying to do a Permadeath run for a while and after dying to a building randomly collapsing I gave up. The building did not collapse when i put two wooden frames to get to the roof. The building collapsed when I REMOVED the blocks which somehow caused the whole thing to go down. The same happens in the trader post near spawn. If you go to the scaffolding inside the building the entire thing will collapse because the building is was made too unstable. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Weird Alpha 19 temperature glitch Posted: 10 Feb 2021 10:24 AM PST Hello, I am currently having an issue with 7 days to die and was wondering if anyone could help. currently no matter what the biome temperatures, in the map menu it always says it feels like 21.11C, and the wind is always stuck at 10 km/r it's not a game-breaking bug but it is really annoying, Things I have already tried
